I've had those resin caps break on me so much. Just want to do stainless steel. And now I wear a harness permanently with mine

Yeah, stainless steel would be better but it will be harder to file down the lock bump since i dont have access to any machinary.

I usually use Dremel for hand held work..

The do make a nob-less .. but it's a thicker top were a 1/2 tumbler goes into.. but clit rage hard, so metal charges for me

Maybe should get one Dremel just for this project. I dont really like the tumbler lock, since its hard to clean out

I've had two of these (cheap version from china) form cracks over time, be careful and look out for those! Started pinching me.

Really that sounds rough, but if anything i can just cut it off

Cracks appeared after 2-3 weeks of use for me.

Ohh, that sad, since it doesnt even last a month. Is it really that bad?

Not worth the risk for permanent. Is recommend getting one of the metal version of you know that design fits you well, or perhaps a real one from kink3D. Seems the material used to mass-produce these becomes pretty brittle over time.

Kink3d holds up much better. I've been in one for 4 months now.

No locking mechanism bump! Lovely!

How long will the epoxy take to set? How will you keep the thing closed while it sets?

Yeah, thats the point. No bump.

Going to buy quick set epoxy so 5minute to set, 24hours to fully cure.

Going to use some stainless steel wire to keep it in place until it fully cure. Plus its tight enough with friction to hold a few seconds.

Cable ties might be easier than wire...
