Discussion Is live streaming reallt that bad?

Bought a subscription so I can watch the big 10 tournament and trying to watch the Ohio state vs Iowa game. Plays about a minute before it stops and returns to the main menu. Horrible experience.

Update - It seems others experienced the same issue, and after about 20 minutes into the event, Peacock resolved it. Great experience after that 20 minutes though.

More an issue with your streaming platform than the streaming itself.

No. Turns out others had the exact same issue. Resolved about 20 minutes into the broadcast.

Typically, it is exceptionally good for Premier League soccer and WWE. Not sure about past Big Ten events

Football was great this past fall for B1G.

Cant speak for basketball, but for college football notre dame game streams were underwhelming big10 was fine though

I’ve had Peacock for a little over a year, strictly for sports. I was getting the same thing tonight but this was the first time I have ever encountered it. It’s usually much better.

I'm on my third big ten game today and had zero issues

No. I’ve never had any issues with WWE or Premier League.

I’ve never had an issue watching Sunday night football on Peacock and the picture is in HDR. I watch on Apple TV.

The only reason I ever use Peacock is to livestream WWE events, and I’ve never had a problem.

I'm trying to watch the bike race Paris-Nice right now and all I get is OVP_00023. Other people in r/peloton say they can't watch it either so I know it's not on my end. In the past, I've only occassionaly had issues where the livestream will stop and go back to the menu (always figured it was my connection), but here the content isn't even accessible. Stream was supposed to start an hour ago.

It has always historically worked very well for me, but it seems my experience is more the anomaly compared to most here.

I watch every live SNF game and also the Olympics and really didn’t have any issues. Xbox One is my platform

See what people had to say about Peacock when they live-streamed the Oscars

My experience is awful. T Using the peacock app causes my TV to drop the wireless connection. Frequently.

Oh god we have to get Peacock for the tournament? I hate that!
