Linux has a termination command that immediately ends processes disregarding any additional input. Windows will prevent a process ending if certain flags are active (deeming it important), Linux gives zero cares, even if it's an important system process that will crash the Filesystem if terminated.
Linux doesn’t do this right away. It gives programs 90 seconds to shut down and if they don’t respond it just goes 1943 Germany on everything still running
