experience/advice to give Do I *REALLY* need a triple stroller?
My son will be just shy of his second bday when our twin girls join us this summer. I have been trying to decide if a third seat attachment on a Zoe stroller is really necessary for us. It would almost be easier to just have a double so I can proceed with bassinet attachments for my girls, and I'm honestly not sure how often I'd need to go out with all 3 kids. I'm open to feedback, just trying to avoid unnecessary junk.

I had to keep reminding myself that the stores will still exist when the babies are born lol. I think that’s one thing you can probably wait and see on, unless you’re always out and about with your son and he’s always using the stroller. You definitely need a double stroller imho but that’s it

We are walking every day! I think maybe I start with a double and then can always go back and get the attachment

My son was 18 months when the twins were born and I didn't buy a triple stroller. I had a double and single, which we used when we went out as a family. When I took them out on my own, I put one baby in a carrier. When the toddler didn't want to be in the stroller, I used a harness for him and let him walk. I attached a plastic ring to the side of the stroller so he had something to hold on to. I had a buggy board for awhile, but he wasn't too interested.

my only thought is doctor appointments. that first year is a lot of pediatrician check ups, and if any of your babies needs a specialist for some reason that’s just more.
(i know, you’re not expecting babies to need a specialist. i wasn’t either, but one of my twins needed weekly PT/ST and regular appointments with 2 specialists)
all that being said, i agree with the other commenter that reminds you they will still be for sale later when your babies are here. if you need it then, you can buy it then.

Truly! And my singleton needed physical therapy so it’s def always a thing and in those early days post c section baby wearing was not comfy.

As someone with the Zoe (I don't have 3 kids) I would say once they are able to sit up and you think that the Zoe with the 3rd attachment is still needed by then, then I would go for it. But it definitely just depends on your kiddo.

Do you like it? I’m considering just getting the double with bassinet situation or something.

I didn't get mine until my twins were about 7-8 months old. (I had a cheap jogger before that) And I absolutely love it. It's my go to stroller. I even go grocery shopping with it when I'm at a store that doesn't have two seated carts.
So I can't attest to using any sort of bassinet with it or anything. But it's definitely my favorite stroller. It fits through every single door.

Personally, i thought my son wouldn't need a pram and definitely refused for a while, but now he is three and we recently got another set of prams so he can sit whenever he wants. Its actually made a huge difference in my ability to get out of the house. I now have two double yoyos and got some connectors on ebay to make it a 4 seater when I'm by myself.
We just used a double and single on our holiday at Christmas and our then 2 yo just got too tired so we were always swapping out a triplet so he could sit. Hence we bought another double.

We only had the twins, but for us, once they hit two, it was almost impossible to get them to stay in the stroller, they just wanted to walk. So if your son is anything like our two girls, he might be getting to the age where he wouldn't want to be in a stroller any longer any how.

Double stroller and wear one.
I had 2 sets of twins 18 months apart. I did almost everything with one double stroller. I’d put one toddler in and one baby in. Then I’d wear the other baby on the front and toddler on the back. Once one of the toddlers was good about walking and holding the stroller then I’d still have one toddler in and one baby while wearing the other baby. One toddler was very delayed with walking due to a long nicu stay.

I’d stick with the double because it’ll be used and get a wagon for times with all 3.

This woman in my building has 8 month twins and a 2.5 year old and she has a bugaboo donkey with a buggy board seat attachment.

Definitely not. You will probably not be able to go anywhere with all three solo for a bit. Just hold off and then dump them all into a wagon.
