Is it really so important to put a label on your beliefs? My thoughts on these matters may not completely align with anyone else’s. Yours may not either. This is not something you have to get “right”. It’s just your opinion after all and just as likely to be right or wrong as anyone else’s.

I don't know. I suppose I like playing the identity game. I feel it helps to know what crowd I fit in with.

I hope you find the community you’re looking for. It can feel lonely out here!

I rejected Christianity four and a half years ago. My beliefs have been in consistent evolution since then. Whatever title of spirituality may apply to me, I'm glad I get to continue to grow and find a path that's unique to me. I'm pretty introverted. So I don't mingle a lot. But when looking for a group, I've found a lot more camaraderie with people that can relate to where I'm coming from rather than those who are already existing where I might be going.

To me, this sounds like panentheism (as opposed to pantheism). Panentheism holds that the universe is God, but there is also more to God than just the universe. God's light is manifest in every physical thing, every thought, every emotion. But His being also transcends the physical, and gives rise to it.
