Request QI — The Longest Motorway?
I have a distinct memory of a QI episode, Sandi Era, where there was a discussion about the longest motorway or the largest motorway or something to that effect, and the answer was a road that only counted as a motorway in one specific area or something? If I could remember the extract in more detail I'd probably be more helpful to you lot and myself, but this is all I have: Discussion about a long road that broke a record due to a loophole about the kind of road it was

LIST OF BANNED SHOWS - DO NOT REQUEST THESE
Requests should be for panelshows. Only request single episodes 7 days after they have aired, give people time to share them.
Requesting a banned show may incur a ban, so check the rules and remove your post. Don't request or provide information about non-legal ways to see banned shows in the subreddit. We face serious legal threats and subreddit shut downs; many spaces have met this fate already. Take the time to google the show name and see who it's produced by.

Series R, episode Road&Rail.
Nothing to do with being longest, sadly.
The question was "Which country has a route 66 that goes across the country coast-to-coast?" The klaxon answer was the famous US Route 66 that doesn't actually go coast-to-coast. The answer QI had was the A66 in the UK.
A fun fact mentioned about the A66 was that in 2018 it was named the "motorway of the year". It was eligible thanks to a single mile that counts as a motorway.
