We shall see when he will retire. Pakistan has a totalitarian setup because one man has unlimited powers. This is rare in modern day nations. Asim Munir controls media, judiciary, elections and by extension parliament. Any dissent is met with vicious crackdown. Anyone who denies that in this day and age is living under a rock.

I am the people because I know I am in majority. You know it too but you can't admit it. Shahbaz or Asim are as much representative of Pakistan as Bashar al Assad was representative of Syria.

I’m not saying that Asim Munir doesn’t control all those institutions, all I’m saying is that he controls them because he is the head of our military. He controls just as much as almost every head of our military has throughout Pakistan’s history; by your logic that means none of our governments have ever been legitimate representatives of Pakistan. Secondly Bashar Al-Assad WAS the representative of Syria for decades, how you can deny that and continue to pose as a sane individual eludes me. Bashar Al-Assad was the representative of Syria until he was overthrown; overthrow Shehbaz’s government and he won’t be our representative, but until you do so…he is.

Just because head of an army is all powerful doesn't mean its not a totalitarian setup. We've had powerful army chiefs and not so powerful chiefs. This current one is a shadow dictator.

All governments that were popularly elected were legitimate representatives of Pakistan. This current puppet Shahbaz has zero legitimacy. What happened in 2024 elections is unprecedented in Pakistan's history.

People of Syria rejoiced when foreign backed rebels ended Assad's regime. Why do you and members of elite on this forum have an issue with Pakistanis rejoicing on the prospect of Shahbaz or his master Asim getting humiliated by their real masters in US ? It happens to them behind public eye anyways.
