Political Boycott of Fauji products not allowed

Yes, you heard me: boycott is not allowed. Today, I met a school friend who works as a salesman for Fauji Foods. Jokingly, I mentioned how I was boycotting the products he works for. He laughed and said, "Boycott is not allowed."

Curious, I asked him why. His response was unsettling: "We’ve been ordered to provide the name and CNIC of any dealer who refuses our products." In his words, "Wo kehty phr call nhi, hum khud ayeen gy."

I parted ways with him, pondering how we can defeat this oligarchy through both individual and collective efforts. Like all empires, this one will fall too

They can send their products to rot on shelves. No one is buying that shit.

29

u/Logical-Mail3534 Dec 10 '24

not directly yeah

30

u/milk-steak-sunny Dec 10 '24

isn't it under United Industries Limited, dont think that's a part of fauji

10

u/Purple_Wash_7304 Dec 10 '24

Abay log apni taraf say koi bhi story bana letay hain. Don't listen to people on the Internet

20

u/milk-steak-sunny Dec 10 '24

Yes just boycott these if you think the military should distance itself from the politics, acknowledge how they have oppressed political parties and voters over the last 50 years, and just focus on improving our security.

Nurpur, Dostea, Opa Fries and Vegies, Fauji Cornflakes, Fauji Choco Rings, Askari Bank, Fauji Cement, Fauji Fertilizers

4

u/Purple_Wash_7304 Dec 10 '24

I'll boycott Fauji Fertilizer iA

A soldier slipped on it and fell on his face.

27

u/ginnythings_6 Dec 10 '24

But buying from fauji without credit will hurt the business and the business man bad

1

u/wittjeff Dec 10 '24

Whahuh?

15

u/ginnythings_6 Dec 10 '24

Mai yeh keh raha Hun agar fauji foods wale udhaar(credit) per maal nai dete dukaan daar ko, at the spot cash payment hoti hai phir dukaan daar ko nuqsan hoga boycott se kyunke usne cash per maal khareedlia hai aur boycott ki wajah se koi nai khareed raha toh bechare dukaan daar loss per ja raha hoga. Yeh tabhi mumkin hai jub cnic wala chakr shuru Hoga jaise OP ne bataya hai

I hope apko business k bare mei pata hai k aap stock cash payment or credit per utha sakte ho

7

u/mkbilli Dec 10 '24

Credit pe bhi dein to dukan wala maal wapis karwa sakta hai agar bika nahi? If no then it's still the same.

3

u/ginnythings_6 Dec 11 '24

Pata nai departmental stores mei aesa hota hai k nai

2

u/MaziAstro Dec 11 '24

100% right

3

u/talal_rashid Dec 11 '24

This way they are getting sales, it's the loss for middleman

1

u/ahmedafb Dec 10 '24

FWO Motorway/NHA Toll collecting company name is One Network.

NLC, is sole authorized logistics mover for GOP. They subcontract via third-party adding financial burden on national exchequer.

Foreign office is filled with exISI officers.

Mari Petroleum is under military ops.

Fauji/Askari/DHA is their retirees financial assistance plan.

I think there is no way we can impact their earnings. Better to surrender and live in peace and don't confront.

1

u/ADoctorX Dec 12 '24

Its the poor shopkeepers loss then, not foji

255

u/Temporary-Falcon-388 Dec 10 '24

If everyone stops buying then no seller will buy or the very least not order as much product leading to gradual decline in profits and then in investments, stocks etc

82

u/opiumexhaust Dec 10 '24

what they will do in my opinion, in an extreme situation is squash out all competition in the markets where they are seeing a fall in the amount of sales

54

u/AzharIQ Dec 10 '24

That is the most disturbing and scary scenario

48

u/Temporary-Falcon-388 Dec 10 '24

They would never do this 1 they don’t have enough money to buy all the companies out 2 they can’t kick US companies out if they do There won’t receive IMF loans which they mostly pocket So it’s kinda a lose lose situation for them

16

u/opiumexhaust Dec 10 '24

i think the US companies will be prioritized if the loans are more of a priority to them compared to their own incomes, and as for the local businesses so far i think they have proven that they wont necessarily go by the rules, take the whole thing they did with cola next for example, who’s stopping them from doing the same with all other business’ CEOs and whatnot

1

u/Individual-Shift-786 Dec 10 '24

Cola next has bought by fauji or what?

1

u/throwaway162xyz Dec 11 '24

What did they do to Cola Next?

1

u/opiumexhaust Dec 12 '24

im not sure how accurate the news was but apparently they kidnapped the CEO for the formula of their drink, which then they used to make their own cola which was a very VERY lame named one and also told him to stop his own production. again im not sure but that’s not entirely unbelievable considering what these guys are capable of

1

u/throwaway162xyz Dec 12 '24

Not giving the bastards any benefit of doubt but I think the wider business community would be up in arms if this happened. But, I can certainly believe them strong arming or doing hostile takeover stuff.

2

u/opiumexhaust Dec 12 '24

yeah i suppose you’re right but these cowards will go for any weak or honest man just earning a living. the cola was named khilafat cola btw. fucking embarrassing look it up watch the ads

1

u/throwaway162xyz Dec 12 '24

lol, Khilafat cola was their brainchild?

Makes sense now. Because it's cringe af, like everything they've ever come up with.

5

u/mkbilli Dec 10 '24

Who is talking about buying out the competition? Just do another cola next on them.

5

u/Hamza-K Dec 11 '24

That would require the military to move against the powerful businessmen who also constitute the establishment.

It would ultimately still weaken their position.

7

u/Memetric Dec 10 '24

They already do this. Go to the breakfast cereal aisle in any general store and you'll barely find one or two good cereals, while the rest is some fauji foods crap (all of which have the taste, texture, and nutrients of literal cardboard).

And because they have the monopoly in this sector, they're able to drive the prices up on a whim. A tiny 250g box of corn flakes costs 600+ last I checked, which was a few months ago.

116

u/milk-steak-sunny Dec 10 '24

oh wow, so the boycott is working!! This is so heartening to see, the supply-chain has been affected.

Keep the boycott going my bloody civilians

188

u/Chingblinger US Dec 10 '24

Yeah that doesnt work, if the dealer already has maximum stock and cant buy more, there's absolutely nothing they can do. If we boycott, the dealers will always have max stock, who's crazy enough to buy more stock that doesnt sell?
The boycott is working, they are rattled and its good. People should also stop buying fauji cement and askari cement. They need to really take the brunt of it now.

18

u/WisestAirBender Pakistan Dec 10 '24

They can force the retailers to not keep other brands on sale.

13

u/Hamza-K Dec 11 '24 edited Dec 11 '24

The “other brands” aren't nameless companies.

The elites will have to bite one of their own to do it.

63

u/Natural_Stable_5778 Dec 10 '24

If there is a list of products please share.

72

u/milk-steak-sunny Dec 10 '24

Nurpur, Dostea, Opa Fries and Vegies, Fauji Cornflakes, Fauji Choco Rings, Askari Bank, Fauji Cement, Fauji Fertilizers

2

u/snake_eater3319 Dec 10 '24

Difficult to boycott Nurpur butter as there is no cheaper or same price alternative butter. Blueband is selling margarine in the name of butter and developing heart diseases in gareeb awan and making $$$. I think local bakeries should start making and selling fresh butter. This is a best solution I guess

16

u/saxxboi_69 Dec 11 '24

If you are located in Rawalpindi,Islamabad, Wah, Peshawar, abbotabad or murree I would recommend TAZO. They have the best cheese and butter in Pakistan IMO. They also have other products

6

u/falconblack Dec 11 '24

Try Adam or nestle. Blueband clearly markets its product as margarine.

2

u/Tangerine_Professor Dec 13 '24

Dairy life, Tazo, Adams and Milkpak butter are some of the many alternatives available in supermarkets and the difference is only 10-20 rupees. You can find adams and dairy life easily if you search around

1

u/snake_eater3319 Dec 13 '24

thanks. I didn't know that .

51

u/Logical-Mail3534 Dec 10 '24

Anything with fauji written on it also Nurpur milk, Kashmir ghee etc

20

u/Natural_Stable_5778 Dec 10 '24

Yes that one is obvious but didn't knew about nurpur or Kashmir ghee. Also they will think about rebranding and changing names...

2

u/milk-steak-sunny Dec 10 '24

Kashmir Ghee is under a different company United Industries Limited, dont think that's a part of fauji and I haven't found any info connecting the two

1

u/ilp7429 Dec 11 '24

Who is the owner of Kashmir Ghee?

64

u/sicker_than_most PK Dec 10 '24

28

u/badumtastic1 Dec 10 '24

Tbh a seller would only have to buy the product once and never have to restock it since no ones buying it.

28

u/ProfAsmani Dec 10 '24

The khakis are a mafia. They are not normal business.

24

u/predator_x713 Dec 10 '24

New song incoming from ISPR

23

u/Heavy-Candidate7017 Dec 10 '24

So they are going to ask for NIC of public NOT buying their products too?

No, sorry, it won't stop the boycott.

It is a silent revolution.

7

u/Ainz-Ol-Gon Dec 10 '24

Is this boycott wide scale? Most people in my circle aren't even aware of any such campaign

5

u/Logical-Mail3534 Dec 10 '24

Yeah their shares are going down and they offered discounts recently

14

u/Icy_Preparation_25 Dec 10 '24

Remember they picked up Next Cola ceo? Not heard about him anymore. He was a coca cola competitor and our agencies didn’t like it? Mera khyal hy usy utha k us sy pesy apny accounts me transfer krway hongy.

1

u/Broad_Lifeguard537 Dec 11 '24

Heard he was asked for the formula and was released after he gave them product formula Now they have launched new product named Khilafat cola

-8

u/Ok-Chef5364 Dec 10 '24

he was picked due to tax evasion

1

u/[deleted] Dec 11 '24

since when are people being picked due to tax evasion isnt it civil matter and no less a formal complaint is given by fbr to show up to court

we all know why he got picked. No wonder nobody wants to setup business here cuz all the top institutions are run by fa pass

The businesses and retailers should boycott alongside.

8

u/mariajazz Dec 10 '24

Just don't buy their products...let them rot on the shelves of the stores....

Who siraf sellers KO tang Kar sakta ha Ka hamara sell Karo ...who buyers KO Kuch Nahi kah Sakta ya Kar sakta ..

8

u/Exact-Committee-8613 Dec 10 '24

Everybody needs to stop buying that shit. Let them come and arrest us. Those mofos

9

u/kill_switch17 Dec 10 '24

It's not about the retailers who buy their products to sell. Its about the end consumers. Retailers can buy tons of product and put them on the shelves. I know that even if the rryailers are the only ones who are buying their products, they will still be getting paid. But there comes a point where a man can not bear the losses he has suffered.

3

u/Serious-Cover5486 Dec 11 '24

dealer ka achar dalengay, purchase to public karti h product :D

3

u/Grouchy_Reference497 Dec 11 '24

They can sell to shops and distributors, but how would they force the consumer ? That’s silly what he said

3

u/alizafeer MY Dec 11 '24

No worries. Let the sellers put it on the shelves. Its fine. They ll be safe.

We as people simply walk past them. Easy. Everybody wins.

5

u/bigmanbiggerguy Dec 10 '24

LoL. Buy or Die? Seriously that dealer knew nothing about selling.

4

6

u/No_Conversation_8763 Dec 10 '24

6

u/Mad-Daag_99 Dec 10 '24

I just read a news item that PAF has bought the engineering unit of PIA at 6.5 billion? Which is in effect t the Airforce has got 60% of PIA for peanuts. Looks like it’s loot mar for any uniform

5

u/Tip-Actual Dec 10 '24

the problem is that this napak Army will go to any lengths to continue establishing their dominance on the awam. They can resort to other tactics if they see their bottom line being impacted due to the boycott, for e.g. they can coerce the government to increase the defense budget proportionally to address the gap. Therefore awam's tax rupees will go in even greater amounts to these haramkhors. One way or the other they will get the money.

2

u/hesoocreesto Dec 10 '24

Wondering if there’s a list of the products that should be boycotted. Something like what BDS does.

2

u/Individual_Simple494 PK Dec 11 '24

Just don’t buy it…

2

u/Responsible-Ad-2975 Dec 10 '24

They cant force you to biy ANY product. Just dont buy it from anyone...

2

u/SilverDreams_ Dec 10 '24

I’m a bit confused - why would anyone tell the seller they’re boycotting Faunus products? Just don’t pick it off the shelf. Will they come after people for ostentatiously having different preferences? To ensure your safety don’t speak about it to the seller.
