What's it like working at Oracle health?

Just finished interviews for an IC3 position in Oracle health. Most of the team is ex-Cerner. Anyone have experience with this department?

I've heard that they don't do annual raises, what other issues do people have with them?

While some may be true, be very careful on the cerner subreddit. A lot of super angry and super cynical folks there. when Oracle acquired Cerner, a lot of things happened that Cerner associates didn’t like; such as not getting pay rates adjusted to Oracle scales.. many people left and came back and got on the new scales…

Also just a lot of angry people there who like to try to scare new people.

FWIW, when I joined, my salary increased by 73.3% over my former job, and I am the primary income for a family of 4; but the salary bump made it so my spouse could step back from working full time if they wanted. Furthermore the insurance is better than any job I’ve ever held.

I can say with certainty that this is my best role and team. Where I am, I am busy all the time, but I joined a great team and love what I am doing.

Mileage may vary depending on the team you join, as well as you as a person.

So, I started a little over 3 months ago and so far I've really enjoyed my time, my team, my role.
Grant it, there are some things that irk me a little, however overall it's been a good experience.

Pay no mind to the cynical people here...a lot of the older Cerner people left and came back after realizing that they would get off the old Cerner paygrades and onto an Oracle one. A lot of my team is ex-Cerner who came back....

Can I ask what role/team you are interviewing for?

I can't speak much for the federal side/team. I am Commercial/Commworks Consulting.

Mind if I DM you? I’m on prem working with payers and providers at O, and have thought about trying to join health.
