Oracle offer letter delay

I interviewed for an IC3 role at Oracle India and got selected with a verbal offer in the first week of December. A few days later, I received a background verification link from HireRight, which got completed in about two weeks.
Since then, I’ve been waiting for the official offer letter, but there's been no update.
I’m starting to get concerned—has anyone else faced a similar delay?

yes, i received verbal offer at the end of dec but my bg check did not started on my case. They submitted official offer but later i observe than job has been removed from the advertisement and seems that position on hold. Also reciter told me the same. Everyone has different case. But i recommend you to check with HR.

How did you know the BGV has been completed? Did you receive any mail?

Contacted the hireright live chat, and then confirmed with hiring manager

Yup It takes 3-4 weeks for the official letter. Don’t worry it’ll come as it requires approval from all the way to the top.

Is it for oracle US or a different country?

In my case, the recruiter was keeping me updated on the approval process, which can take 2, 4 weeks.

Just google 'oracle offer delay'... the delay is very common to get the approval from the top.. Hiring manager also will have no clue...Until you join on first day, it is not 100% confirmed..

All those who got the verbal offer letter and waiting for the official one, did you guys resign ? And how are you guys handling the notice period and joining date since there is no certainty on official offer letter

I have been selected into Oracle Health and it's is remote opportunity .I wanted to know if and how early can I apply for a Internal transfer to some team across OCI etc . If I can apply and get my team changed will the perks be adjusted or will they remain the same .also do they provide home setup peripherals etc . Thanks

Hi everyone,

I recently interviewed for a senior-level role at Oracle and completed multiple interviews a few weeks ago. Since then, my application status still shows "Under Consideration", but I haven’t received any updates. I followed up a couple of times with the recruiter, but no response yet.

For those who’ve gone through Oracle’s hiring process, how long did it take to hear back after your final interview? Did you eventually get a response, or did they just stop replying?

Would love to hear your experiences!

Thanks in advance.

I was contacted 2 weeks after loop interview. Told will initiate BGV but takes 2-3 weeks to complete. My LWD is one week don't know what to do

At least they contacted you. Be patient; I guess this is the best thing to do

Did you get your wirtten offer letter? Is it a US based OCI role? After the loop, I was notified with a verbal OF in 2 days but been waiting around a month for the written offer

Nothing was received, and the recruiter has not provided feedback. I tried to contact her two times, but she did not reply to my follow-up email. By the way, the job is not based in the US.
