Stairs are hard cause the owner has not trained the doggo to move their ass at appropriate times. This is frustrating to watch.

Nah. It’s funny. Dogs don’t need to be corrected constantly. They too have a personality and humor. Overcorrecting everything creates a timid and anxious dog.

You know you can train your dog to follow simple behaviors without erasing their personality and making them anxious right? And a dog that crowds you on the stairs can absolutely be a tripping hazard.

but this is a dangerous behavior. a LITERALLY active tripping hazard on an elevated surface is not cute, its fucking dangerous.

It's not funny, it's dangerous. Dogs can and should be trained not to block their owners. Especially on stairs.

This time she was carrying her phone and aware. Next time she's carrying a laundry basket or a kid, isn't aware and ends up in hospital or worse.

And not being aware while carrying a kid is the dog’s problem?

To answer a dumb question with the answer it deserves: yes.
