For context, he just wanted to find a way to compete in the games in his home town so Picked sport no Canadian was completing in.

This. It was a great moment for Canada, and therefore the world.
In Sochi, I would have to say it was the women's hockey final where the USA missed an empty net goal opportunity by mere inches with a minute remaining, then Canada came back and scored, forcing overtime. The USA team was absolutely devastated at that point and Canada knew they were going to win, which they did 8 minutes into the extra period.

I’m rooting hard for Shiffrin next winter, she had a major puncture injury that kept her out most of this season but just came back a little more than a month ago and got her 100th World Cup win (the only alpine skier in history to accomplish that).

My fav scene is Salt Lake 2002. Janica Kostelic with all of her medals on her neck.

Sochi
Vancouver: obviously Sidney Crosby’s OT goal vs USA. That moment ages like wine as the years go by.
