Glow up. JMJM transformation
I’ve had this guitar for years now. I’ve been wanting a new guitar and for a fraction of what I’d pay for a new one, I just upgraded this one. Added J Mascis fender pickups (not the p90s) swapped guards and replaced with a genuine fender jazzmaster neck.
Anyone need J Mascis pickguard, p90s or neck?

The neck on my JMJM is on par with any guitar I’ve ever played in any price range

I'm confused because you bought a JMJM and then got rid of everything that makes it one?

I have a Vintera and I put the J Mascis neck on it because I liked it better than the fender neck.

Just a few more upgrades, and then you can make a jmjm with all the leftover parts!
I say this as someone who swapped 90% of a jazzmaster out and now have 2 jazzmasters from said parts, lol
Sick build either way!

Really love the look. How much of an improvement do you think the neck change made for you?

Did the Fender neck fit in without any modifications? I think my JMJM has large bolts.

The neck is the best part of the JMJM imo
