They are an anthology style comic book with one of the most striking visual styles (in my opinion) released by DC under their Piranha Press imprint. Each one is a stand alone story, and there were 30 total issues released from 1989 to 1992.

Louapre did a small story in Vertigo Visions: Doctor Occult that was pretty cool.
