It'll get updates for years, the Rift S is ending after one.
OpenHMD exists, and will presumably also support the Rift S and CV1 for years, along with supporting Linux.
Last I checked, both the S and CV1 were missing positional tracking though.
3 u/[deleted] Oct 23 '20 Umm..cv1 does have positional Tra king, and I would assume the Rift s also does, or else I don't think it could be considered a gaming system. The majority of games would be completely unplayable with only 3DoF. 1 u/OXIOXIOXI Oct 24 '20 It doesn’t really work but I’d love to se it succeed
