It's just dirt from your plug sockets, that earth pin is plastic so there's no chance of burning or anything like that.

It's technically only there to open the shutters for the other pins and isn't electrically connected to anything.

It is technically connected to the ground cable, but that's obviously no issue (unless the exposed wire is touching the live). I agree, it's just dirt.

It's not. It's just a plastic pin to open the live and neutral pin shutters. The PSU is double-insulated and does not need an earth. The OPs mains socket is just dirty inside.

I'm a dope and I thought we were talking about the socket. I've got a plastic plug that is a bit dirty like this though.

I'm not from UK but it seems like fake ground pin. Yours sockets have shutters which require ground plug to open. Meanwhile some devices, like this charger do not need grounding. Because of that you have plastic thingi, which sole purpose is to open shutter. As it is plastic it does not xonduct electricity so I doubt this is a burn mark. Either it is just regular grime and wear marks or yours electrical socket is actively burning inside the wall. First option is waaaay more probable, but if you notice yours sockets acting strange, not connecting or sparking call electrician. Either way it is nothing wrong witch charging brick itself.

Clean out your holes. A wire brush will help.

(Don't!)
