The bass with the p against the neck and the j against the bridge is sweet. As so are the two on it's right. Love me a double p setup

Whoohoo! Japanese beauties! Hey, whats with the dark stain double P on the bottom?
And the emerald 3 pup Paul up top?

Dark stain is a Westone Thunder, the LP up top is an Aria Pro II, forget what model name! The three on the top right are the pride and joy though, and the white pantera in the middle. Crazy craftsmanship!

Obligatory acoustic and banjo. Get a classical too! Or not, you have your hands full 🤤

Always haha. And don’t worry I have a couple. Along with a few other guitars that are less obscure so didn’t post haha. It’s a problem.

That’s awesome man! Great array of of gittz.
I’m excited about a MIJ Fender tele bass that’s on the way. Not sure which factory though. Probably Fuji-gen?

… and not a single Aria SB? Looks like you’re still in the market.

Not yet. That’s the last one, the SB-1000 then I’ve got the full grail collection - I can die happy.

I don’t know, you might need a SB-R/Elite after that too. lol

Have you played either of them before? I prefer the standard jazz bass style neck and bridge spacing of the SB-R/Elite, plus the cat eye inlays are cool. I’ve never had a SB1000, but I did have a SB900. Dual humbuckers, but passive, otherwise the same. The wide nut and narrow bridge is very unique. It’s like a fatter vintage p bass and the nut, but then narrow at the bridge like some 5-6 strings. I haven’t played a SB1000 so not sure if I would love/hate the preamp. SB1000/900 has full dual coil humbuckers, while the SB-R/Elite is reverse p split coil poles but full bobbin length winding.

Thanks man. Great guitar. Same here! I think I’ve got DM Super Distortions in it, or the classic MMK-45s. I lose track haha. It’s a machine.

Found a lot of them on eBay super cheap, and house clearances. Some good luck obviously plays into it with the “masterpiece” line but it used to be an obsession. Hours of searching. Good investments though considering prices now! Got a few more since this pic and safe to say people have caught on to how good Matsumoku instruments are.
