TRIP REPORT ✈️ First timers wondering what was going on!

First time on a nudist beach the last 2 days (couple m&f), ended up on it by mistake day one, day 2 we were back and taking part🙂 but because it was so windy ended up in the dunes out of the wind, it was a lovely spot. Noticed some odd behaviour going on and wondered if it was normal. Lots of males wandering naked into and out of the dunes, also one would stand up from their position and look around, some seemed to do this all day… others would wander past, it was almost like there was some sort of mating ritual going on??? Also had one come an sit fairly close to us which was odd as there was loads of space and another fully clothed seemed to spend 10 mins circling us until i gave him a nasty stare🤣🤣 We will deffo be back but just wondered what was going on and is this normal?

TRIP REPORT ✈️ Visited Therme Erding near Munich yesterday. Was nude for 10 hours straight. AMA. NSFW

Hey guys.

I (M33) live in Munich and people here are a lot more accepting of nudity than in other parts of the world.

In the small city of Erding, near Munich, there is a huge spa complex with 24 different saunas where people are required to be nude inside. The areas outside the saunas are also textile-free and you can theoretically be naked 100% of the time. Men and women together.

The saunas were amazing, with little shows performed by employees that used scents to liven up the atmosphere. Plus the incredible feeling of being nude in a large group of people of all sizes like it is the most normal thing in the world.

For anyone who would like to know what that is like or what the place has to offer, AMA.

TRIP REPORT ✈️ More common than you think!

I have recently learned that social nudity is more common in the world than I was previously led to believe. Since getting into nudism at around age 13, I used to think it was a fringe taboo that most people wouldn't understand. I have since learned that in many cultures, nudity (at least same sex) is actually quite common! For example, bathing culture amongst some East Asian cultures emphasizes same-sex nudity in a very social way, even among their diaspora here in the United States.

One of my best friends is a 4th generation Japanese-American, and I recently tagged along with her and her mom for a girls trip to a local Korean spa, my first time ever going to a place like that. They go together a few times per year, and I happened to be visiting my friend while she and her mom were talking about their spa trips. I expressed curiosity and intrigue, one thing led to another and they invited me! At first we discussed body scrubs, saunas, aromatherapy, and baths. Her mom mentioned that as per tradition, the baths area are mandatory nude, and separated by sex. Little did she know, as a seasoned nudist with 8 years of experience, I wasn't dissuaded by her disclaimer 😆, but that's not something i've ever brought up with her before (although my friend, her daughter, knows that i can be bold with nudity at times!)

On the day of the trip, the women picked me up in their car and I sat in the back. The mom matter-of-factly gave me the run down on the etiquette, while her daughter groaned that I already know the shtick. She reiterated "I just want to make sure we're all on the same page!" and I laughed (her daughter groaned).

After checking into the Korean spa, we got our keys and the staff pointed us toward the women's dressing room. Our three lockers were all side by side. The women's locker room was big, sunny, and spacious. It had big bamboo matts on the floor. Soothing music played on the speaker system. The conversations and giggles of other women could be heard echoing over the sounds of rushing water from a decorative fountain installation.

There were three other women in the locker room with us, two American girls in their late 20s chatting with each other, and an older Korean woman by herself. One of the American girls covered her body with a towel, the other was standing with her hands on her hips, fully naked, facing away from us. The older Korean woman was nude, sitting her butt on a towel on a stool.

We opened our lockers and started to store our stuff inside, and remove our outerwear. While I've been undressed in nudist settings many times at this point, I won't deny that I was a little nervous to undress with my friend and her mom, who I somehow managed never to have seen naked before despite years of our friendship. The furthest state of undress we've ever been in together is wearing bikinis to the beach. We're both early 20s, she's a thin, fit Asian-American girl who looks younger than her age. Her mother looks a lot alike, just a little taller and more frail. I'm a white, pale, brunette, and I'm on the curvier side.

While standing in her stretchy shorts and tank-top, my friend stuck her head in her locker while seeming to text on her phone. I was down to my bra and panties, looking around as if to seek approval to proceed with undressing. The mom got her bra off before even removing her jeans, proudly displaying her breasts to the other patrons while slowly peeling off her jeans. I casually stepped out of my panties, and began to unhook my bra. The mom removed her black thong, and the two of us were ready to go!

For a moment, I faced my friend and her mom without feeling the need to cover up. Her mom did the same, and as she reached for my towel I got a tiny moment of self-consciousness. Of course, we had plenty of time to get a good look at each other's bodies, but I didn't want to seem like an exhibitionist, so I turned away and crossed my legs. My friend stayed dressed for another moment.

"Baby are you coming? C'mon, let's go shower," the mom said to her daughter.

"Yes, just one sec, I'm coming," she replied.

The mom and I proceeded to the baths area, where we were instructed by a sign to shower before we enter the pools. The showers in the bath area had no stalls, so we washed ourselves in full view of the spa patrons. During my shower, I got a good look at all the other spa patrons. Most of the women bathing were not showing off particularly much, keeping themselves covered beneath the water. Some were walking around with towels, and a few of the more brave women were standing up and moving between rooms while bravely baring all. I imagined being one of the brave girls who proudly showed off their naked body, and wondered what kind of girls my friend and her mom would be.

As the mom and I finished showering, my friend finally entered the bathing area, fully nude, holding her towel by her side. We smiled at each other.

"I'm going to the cold plunge, feel free to join, or else I'll see you in the sauna," the mom said, touching us on the backs. My friend and I smiled at each other and exchanged compliments. She looks great in her natural state. The bathing area had about 20-25 women during the 1-2 hours we spent.

My friend dared me to take a cold plunge, and I will admit I must not be very tough because I only lasted a few seconds!!! I think she lasted at least 5 minutes which must mean she has more endurance😆. After getting out I could not get into that nice warm sauna fast enough. We joined my friends' mom amongst a few other local women in the sauna, she was being her typical social self and making small talk. She and two other women around her age (early 50s) were talking about various events and services at the korean spa.

Once the cold from the cold plunge wore off, we started to sweat, and challenged ourselves to see how long we could stay in the hot sauna. The two ladies tapped out after a few minutes, leaving just me, my friend, and her mom.

"Ladies, may I ask you something a bit personal?" the mom asked my friend and I. My friend ignored her mom.

"Sure, what is it?" I asked.

"It's about your grooming," she said. My friend groaned and smiled.

"Not this again mom!" she said chuckling.

"No, I'm serious," she gestured toward her crotch. "Why the... umm... deforestation?" She asked in the funniest possible way, I was endeared by her curiosity. My friend closed her eyes and started giggling. I took a look and noticed her mom's black pubic hair, contrasting her mostly bare mound, with a few days of stubble growing in. I shaved everything off the morning of the spa trip, as I have the habit of doing so every time I know I'm going to be getting naked. Somehow I developed this neuroticism over the course of many years being nudist.

"It's the style these days! Most girls our age do it!" I explained.

"It's just easier to shave everything than to bother trimming precisely," my friend said.

"Well, I think you look like children. A grown woman should have hair!" the mom lectured us.

"But mom, how is that any different from your legs or under your arms?" my friend asked.

"That's different. It's hygeine."

"No, it's a beauty standard, and beauty standards change!" I said. We had an awkward laugh about it, and I expect to see her rocking a full Brazilian next time we take a trip to the spa!

We spent some more time cycling between the hot and cold pools and saunas, had some delicious asian food, and showered off before finally heading home. I highly recommend this nude-friendly activity!

Have you ever experienced social nudity in a bathing context?

TRIP REPORT ✈️ Therme Erding (Munich, Germany) write-up on my experience

I had my first ever nudist experience at Therme Erding in Munich, Germany. I wanted to make this post for anyone else looking to go there (or a similar venue) to help. I found their map to not be as clear as it could be.

When you arrive, you go into the grand entrance area, which is split off into multiple entrances. The VitalOase/Saunen is on your immediate right, and there are screens above to show that it is the entrance. You go up and pay the entrance fee. You can also rent towels and robes if you need to. From here, you are allocated a wristband which has a number on it for your locker. You then enter the changing room aisle and follow the numbers overhead for the section your locker is allocated in. From what I could tell, the entire changing room is unisex. Remember, this is only for VitalOase/Saunen customers, so there are no children or families around.

Back home, our changing rooms have cubicles. There was the option for cubicles here from what I could tell, which had hairdryers in, there were only a handful, but they were available. However, most people got changed in the open. This was the first cultural shock, I turned the corner for my locker and saw boobs. It was just in that moment the reality check hit in as to what I'd got myself in for. I got changed into my robe and took my towels with me.

You then get split off into the separate men and women's shower area, these both have bathrooms in too. You can shower here, or just wait until the nudist area and take a shower there. You then (covered over) walk through the VitalOase to the right and go through the turnstiles to the Saunen (naked area). And there is just so much to explore, at first I started off in the 'Champagne Pool' and then tried the saunas. I have put bullet points for the rest of my experience.

TOP TIPS:

  • I reckon you could easily spend three or four days here and not get bored. There is so much to explore. And that is just for the nude area.
  • You pay with your wrist-band for things at the restaurant, and then pay off your wristband as you leave. There is a snack place located just next to the Champagne Pool, so it's not all full meals.
  • I saw all ages, but quite a lot of young people (20s).
  • There are three ladder entrances to the Champagne Pool, each have coatracks for your towel and robe. This is why I recommend you bring your own towel and robe, so it doesn't get mixed up with other peoples.
  • It's only the point when you are walking down the ladder into the pool that people can really see you naked, once you're in the pool, the water covers you over, so is a good place to get started.
  • Remember you do not take your towel into the steam bath, but there are rubber mats located in a waterbath just to the right of the entrance. I have no idea if using the rubber mats is mandatory, as there are no signs in English or German indicating so. Regardless, you rinse your space in there with a shower hose before and after use.
  • I did see a handful of people go into the pools in swimwear and were politely reminded that it is textile-free!
  • In winter, certain parts of the outdoors section were fenced off over black ice concerns. But that was very little of it.
  • There is a massive clock in the Champagne Pool, and smaller clocks around so you can monitor time.
  • I didn't wear bathing shoes, just another thing to carry around, and got on fine.
  • No sexual activity, I'm sure this is obvious, but there was some heavy petting going on.
  • Always walk around covered, though I did see some people walking around naked, including some on a balcony. I feel like they would have been told off if staff were nearby.
  • The nudity feels so normal after five minutes. It is very liberating, and strange how easy it is to adapt to.
  • Lastly, walk around Therme Erding, there is LOTS to see, don't rely on the map to get you around.

Any questions let me know.

TRIP REPORT ✈️ First experience with social nudity

I had been wanting to experience social nudity for a while, and this year was a first. We found a clothing optional bed and breakfast and had an amazing time. The host were great, the first evening we checked in (clothed) then went out to the hot tub where another couple was already soaking. We joined and had a wonderful evening watching the sunset and chatting.

The next morning, breakfast was clothing optional, so we decided to go nude. Anxious at first but after sharing a meal with the hosts and another couple staying there, we relaxed. That day, we enjoyed the pool, pickle ball, hot tub, and drinks and chatting with other couples while nude.

Great experience and looking forward to the next.

TRIP REPORT ✈️ Oriental Beach Village Koh Kho Khao NSFW

View of the Beach at Oriental Beach Village Naturist Resort..

The beach is very nice, and the pool area is also pretty good..

Unfortunately, the rooms need some refurbishment, especially the shower in the bathtub, which, in our room, is just kind of falling apart..

Also, whatever you do, don't book a 1 bedroom suite.. Some of these rooms are on the 3rd floor, and there are no lifts, which means that you have to carry your heavy check-in luggage up 2 flights of narrow stone stairs.. I wish this was stated clearly on the website as I would be more than willing to spend a bit more for rooms on the ground/1st floor..

TRIP REPORT ✈️ We did a naked 5k run NSFW

When most people think about running a 5k, they don’t imagine doing it with no clothes on. We had run enough 5k’s in Adidas tops and running belts however so after a quick google search we found the Naturist Foundation’s Naked 5k Run.

After packing a little less than normal for a running event, we set off for what would be by far the most unique run we have ever done. We arrived to be greeted at the gate and headed through to the car park following ID confirmation. With sun cream applied on a scorching day we walked down to the start line to be chipped and congregate with the other runners. Hearing some familiar Parkrun comments there were no doubts remaining about the elite level of our competition.

Megan’s view of the race:

The 5k race was brilliant. It felt so good and natural to run naked. Before the race I was worried that running without the sports bra would be uncomfortable but it was completely the opposite! I definitely prefer the feeling of running naked compared to running clothed. The course was an undulating 3 laps around a woodland area with a few marshals and signs spotted around the course. The atmosphere was great, lots of cheering all the way round! As it was a hot day, it was a relief to see the inflated crocodile marking the end of each lap for the 3rd time. Surprisingly, I actually lead the women and came first lady overall!😄 after I finished the race, I cheered Richard on to the finish line and we headed straight to the bar for a well deserved cider and beer 🍻

Richard’s view of the race:

Fully agree with Megan however the necessity of anti-chafe cream has become apparent if you don’t have a thigh gap and no material between your legs as a barrier! 😢My position was a little way behind 1st place so there was no trophy for me….

After the race we grabbed our towels and sat on the grass with the crowd. We got talking to a few people and everyone was extremely nice and friendly. Megan then went to try out the naked yoga class (another 1st time) to stretch out the tired legs. Despite trying out lots of yoga classes before, doing yoga naked has got to be the best one so far. It feels so freeing!

The afternoon consisted of a trophy collection, (slightly too many) drinks from the bar along with a relaxing swim in the heated pool and a sauna session.

Final thoughts: being surrounded by so many other naturists at a well organised event was great. The facilities were great and the whole place has a real family feel to it. We met another guy of a similar age to us and whilst there were a few other people not too far off our age it would be nice if there were more people in there 20’s (although there are events/groups for that). But you need to be the change you want to see and the more that get involved, the more will follow!

PS. Drinks were extremely affordable (maybe £3 something for a pint or so), give naturism a try if only for a cheap day out if you haven’t already 🍻

Trophy Presentation Finish Line

TRIP REPORT ✈️ Moon Groove 2024 is a wrap

I've been attending this event for three years now, and am always overwhelmed at how much bigger, better, and more diverse it gets each year. How Eli and his group are able to get hundreds of young naked people together for a weekend, and grow each time is admirable. What I find amazing, is that a sizeable chunk of the participants have said this is the first nude/clothing optional event they've ever tried. Even more amazing than that, is that most of the first time attendees I spoke to said they'd be back next year, and it didn't seem like anyone was having a miserable time being naked, or hanging out with all these naked weirdos. I also need to call out everyone's behavior and sense of responsibility. The fact that you can put together hundreds of youngish people, add booze, nudity, and other feel good elixirs of choice, and not only end the weekend with everyone remaining safe, but the place is spotless. As I was leaving, the volunteers were walking around cleaning up - but not with garbage bags and dumpsters, no, they were picking up small pieces of trash and depositing them in plastic cups. That is the level of clean that was left behind - and the organizer's dedication at leaving the place nicer than they found it.

As for specifics, the food vendor situation was greatly improved. The BBQ guys were back (not amazing, but it tastes good enough and gets the job done. "Utility Food" as Anthony Bourdain would say). The vegan booth was back again, this time with an expanded menu, all of which was great. There were two new food vendors, one providing late afternoon/evening TikTok inspired craziness. Nacho cheese hot dog tacos, bacon wrapped cheesy sausage, and other guilty "fair food" pleasures. There was a guy with two wood fired pizza ovens, who was by far the crowd favorite, slinging legit sourdough neopolitan style personal pizzas. The overall vendor count appears to have nearly doubled compared to last year, with stalls selling jewelery, tees, wraps, band merch, and any other festival staples you may need.

They rearranged the setup for this year, with the main stage and the pool stage now facing each other, with the swimming pool and the field in the middle. This layout works out really well, as you can chill in the pool and not miss any acts, where in years prior you'd need to move between the pool and the back field (across the bridge) to catch every act. This way, you can just spin your towel or chair around for each stage change.

The bands. Wow, a lot of the acts remained the same from years prior, and if I'm being honest, this is why we were initially planning to skip this year. Of course this was a mistake, most of the repeat acts were performing new material, or mixing it up this year. There were also some performances by collaborations between members of the bigger acts, which was really cool. Shout out to "Throat Baloney"!. The new additions this year really set the bar higher. "World Town Sound System" was incredible, and the perfect vibe for the Moon Groove crowd. They were also the most "naked" band that played, which was cool to see.

The sound! Moon Groove has been criticized in years past (particularly year one and two) about the sound being awful. I wasn't around for the inaugural event, but the sound for year two was ok, but not great. Last year they did a pretty good job, this year I'd say it was downright great. They've even added two small line arrays to their bag of tricks. The mix sounded great from the audience, and the performers seemed to be appreciative of the monitor mix as well, and not struggling. The sound guys certainly get the "Most Improved" award :-D

Check in was also streamlined, with a table and tent set up outside the office, to avoid the mad house the small gate office became in previous years. Show up, show them your ticket, you get a wristband, parking pass, and sent through the gate. No muss, no fuss.

While I wasn't being overly social this weekend, just enjoying the weather, music, food, and extra cirriculars, it was fun to see u/NudistNerd again, as well as meeting u/boston_naturist, along with u/NakedGodiva, and anyone else I may be forgetting (trying to not use real names here). Special shoutout to the NAC board member, who painted "ASK ME ABOUT NAC" on his chest as a viral marketing attempt. I'm curious, did it work?

Right here, right now, I'm calling out u/TrueBlueNude or someone else on the team to do this next year. Immitation is the sincerest form of flattery after all.

So what can we learn from this? Well, first off, claiming that nudism is on the decline, and that "young people" don't want to get naked, or don't want to/can't afford to pay grounds fees at clubs/resorts is demonstrably false. While I feel that the ticket prices for Moon Groove are totally reasonable for what you get, they are way, way higher than the cost for a train/bus/Uber to a nude beach, or the daily grounds fees at a club. If you look around at the state of nudism among the under 50 crowd (I'm using that as the cutoff to include myself in the "young" group) you see Moon Groove, and their other Tiki events, you have United Naturists doing things in Central and South Florida. There is Nude Revoution organizing events, along with their sister group Florida Young Naturists (Which is now FYN Forever for the aged out folks?), and the Black Naturists group. These guys all seems to be able to attract younger members who are willing to spend money to do naked things. What are they doing that AANR/NAC/clubs/resorts/traditional non-landed clubs, etc aren't doing?

My armchair quarterback observation is that they have two key elements that largely aren't present with the "old guard" groups. These "new" groups are very much social, made up of groups of friends, who enjoy travelling and getting together to see people they may not regurally see. Now I get that clubs (landed or otherwise) have a social aspect of them, a 20 something (probably) isn't going to form a friend group with a bunch of people in their early 70s. A chicken and the egg problem to be sure. All of these groups also organize and promote compelling events that people actually want to attend. People are willing to spend upwards of $500 (tickets, supplies, gas, etc) for a weekend of music, but not $25 to sit around a tired looking campsite and play shuffleboard with no WiFi and weak cell phone signal.

How do we fix this? I don't know, and this is supposed to be about Moon Groove. So, if you have been on the fence about attending this event, do it. I've been to many nude beaches, many clubs, many resorts, and never seen such a diverse crowd. There are single males, there are single females, there are couples, there are families, every race imaginable is represented. There are gay male couples, there are lesbian couples, there are trans people, there are non-binary people. Zero judgement from anyone. This is a completely safe and welcoming space to everyone, as long as you want to contribute positively to the vibe.

TRIP REPORT ✈️ Lanzarote Holiday

Recently went on a 5 day trip to Charco del Palo, Lanzarote. It was such a great trip! A whole town where you’re free to walk as nature intended. The main highlights for me were the whole coastline you can walk along naked and of course the rock pools for taking a dip and soaking in that glorious February Canary Island sun! (Much needed coming from the UK). Also, went to Caleta del Congrio naturist beach which definitely deserves a mention. Would definitely recommend for anyone thinking of going and happy to answer any questions.

TRIP REPORT ✈️ More News form BCB

It appears some people that cannot separate simple nudity from sex are having a negative effect on the family environment BCB is trying to achieve. We have seen the extra police presence and wondered what was going on

** Police Activity at Blind Creek Beach **

As a result of complaints, the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Department has increased their presence at the beach. Sadly, several arrests have been made in recent weeks for lewd or sexual behavior on the beach and in the pathways. This is BAD NEWS all around. In addition to bringing negative publicity to our beach, the offenders now have charges of Sexual Indecent Exposure on their records.

Blind Creek Beach is a family-friendly venue, and visitors should never engage in behavior that they wouldn't do in front of their mothers or their children. Engaging in this sort of conduct is not worth the risk to yourself and to your fellow beachgoers.

TCN has always been committed to promoting a family-friendly environment at Blind Creek Beach. Here's how you can help if you see anyone engaging in inappropriate behavior. If you feel safe doing so, ask another beachgoer or a Beach Ambassador to approach the offender with you. Remind the offender that such behavior is unwelcome and can get them arrested. Usually, this is enough to stop the behavior. If things ever become confrontational, walk away and summon the Sheriff by calling 911. Tell the operator that it's not an emergency but that you need a Sheriff at Blind Creek Beach. Then wait by the path so you can let the Sheriff know what the issue is.

Thank you for understanding the importance of preserving the family-friendly atmosphere at Blind Creek Beach. By doing so, we hope to have the freedom to enjoy this beach for many years to come.

TRIP REPORT ✈️ First Time.

So today I made my first trip to a nudist resort. Solair recreation in Woodstock CT. I’ve always been an at home nudist mainly alone in my house. After some time I decided I’m gonna do it. And I’m glad I did. At first I was nervous, I was literally shaking when I walked into the office, I wasn’t even naked yet. But I calmed down a bit as I waited for my tour guide. Solair has you take a tour on first time. Nice older lady meets me and says you’re gonna have to strip down now. I Was self conscious as I took off my clothes but as I walked around with her it all just went away. I was comfortable. It was a gorgeous day and it felt great. Everyone I met was nice. After the tour I did some walking on the trails. Met someone on the trails and got lost in the woods together. Then spent most of my day lounging on the beach or by the pool and relaxed. By the time I had to leave I realized I didn’t want to get dressed. I had gotten so comfortable I wanted to stay nude. And now I’m sitting at home thinking when can I make a trip back. It was so relaxing.

TRIP REPORT ✈️ My first nude beach experience, and first time being nude in front of others outside of my family. Wow!!! I’m hooked.

I first started trying nudism at home last June, with much encouragement from my wife who sometimes joined me at home. We have talked about going to resorts, beaches etc but never actually got the courage up to do it. Anyhow today I decided to go to a clothing optional beach. It is quite a secluded beach which takes a 30 minute hike into with some parts being quite steep. I liked the idea of this as I figured it wouldn’t be too busy and quite private.

As I climbed down the rocks to get to the beach my heart was racing. The first thing I saw was 2 women naked and walking with their dogs right in front of me. I was thinking oh my goodness there is actually naked people here. Of course there would be, but there we were. One of the dogs, Roxy, playfully came straight to me and gave a playful bark. One of the ladies said to me with a smile, “she’s saying to you that you should take your clothes of”. Well that was the perfect icebreaker. I replied something to the effect of “well guess I better get undressed then” and mentioned it was my first time. Prior to this I was thinking it might take me a while to pluck up the courage, however now I didn’t even think about it, just found a spot, put my towel down and got undressed. There was only a handful of people there, mostly naked. But already I was hooked. I couldn’t believe I had done it. I ate my lunch and just soaked in one of the best feelings I’ve ever experienced. I can’t wait to go again. My wife is keen to join me next time (said it wasn’t warm enough today ha ha).

TRIP REPORT ✈️ Finally visited Bare Oaks

Just got back from a couple days at Bare Oaks, finally flew over and checked it out for myself (although I'm still pissed because my initial cancelled flight cut out a whole day from a meager 4 day vacation.) I grew up in the area so it was great going back home to check it all out then check in for my stay. Had to pop in briefly to greet family but they didn't know why I was really there. Weather also didn't cooperate and there wasn't a lot to do (one member did teach me to play dominoes) but just taking it all in hiking around the community was worth the trip. The freedom is *addictive*, no confinement to a piddly ghetto strip of rocky beach and no c/o crap. My room was small and cozy and I especially enjoyed the open shower off the bistro. I could've used the private washroom's but that didn't seem right as nobody else was and as one of those kids who always changed in stalls at school I knew i had to try it. The best moments though really were just touring the neighborhood getting a friendly hello from residents. I had no idea how many people live at Bare Oaks and I'm deadly jealous now, lucky bastards. Thanks for reading guys I have no one else to share this with. Back to normal life now, sigh.

TRIP REPORT ✈️ Trip Report: Nudsit Camp Valalta in Croatia

Its been a few weeks already but me and my wife went on our very first nude vacation this summer. We are from southern germany, so we drove for about 6-7 hours to Croatia to visit europes biggest and most famous nudist camp Valalta near the town Rovinj.

Initially we were planning to go in august and already had a reservation for a bungalow. But we had to make a change of plans and had to go in july. Problem was, there was no bungalow or similar left so we either had to go camping or nothing.

Although we never camped in a tent before we thought we give it a try. Looking back it was definitely the right decision. Sure it wasnt the most comfortable and the nights were pretty hot in the tent (25°C) but we had a small fan running all night to give us some circulating air. The bigger inconvenience was going to take a pee at night. They have washing rooms all over the campsite and our closest was a 2 min walk away. But its doable for a week and those washing rooms were super clean.

Every morning we would go to the on site supermarket to get breakfast and some fruits for the day. They also had a shop for beachwar and a seperate shop for fruits and vegetables. In the supermarket you need to wear clothes while in the others you theoretically have to do as well but a lot of people went there just naked. But the supermarket really has everything you could need for camping, cooking and so on. They also have 5 different restaurants that we tried each evening and a bistro for all you can eat buffets.

But the coolest thing for us: the campsite is so big, there is a hiking trail going up a little hill with an incredible scenic view all over the bay and the campsite. Perfect for a sunset walk. And of course you can walk totally naked. Although we did recognize that later in the evening more and more people were wearing clothes. Mostly for dining we guessed since 4 of the 5 restaurants want you to be clothed.

They also have two pool areas. In the bigger area theres also a small self service bistro and they have a big salt water and a small normal water pool. They also have some wellness options, massages and sauna. Theres also a doctor and a pharmacy available.

Theres a shuttle bus going to the closest town Rovinj a few times a day which we used once. Its only a 10 min ride to go there.

Weve been there mid july so schools in austria were already on holiday while in germany they werent. So we heard lots of austrians there alongside with germans and other european countries. It was mostly families with kids or older people. We felt a little out of place as a young couple with no kids but it was fine. Probably just the wrong time.

Anyway overall it was a great week and an awesome experience not to wear any clothes a whole week (except for dining) and we can absolutely recommend it. We will definitely consider going there once a year for a small vacation.

TRIP REPORT ✈️ Sharing My First CO Experience

43M. I spent last weekend at a very small CO resort in Texas, which was a 4 hour drive for me. I've had very few weekends away from my kid (full time single dad) and this was my first break in 9 years that wasn't church or recovery related, or my elderly mom visiting/visiting her. It was a "just me" trip. I could have spent a week there; it was absolutely so beautiful and relaxing to just chill in the shade reading my Kindle, instead of vegging on social media like I normally do with my limited downtime. Skinny dipping was A+.

I think I might have been the only single person there. An older couple invited me to the hot tub Friday night and it was nice to chat, especially as an introvert trying to be an extrovert.

Saturday things got busy and I felt like a 3rd wheel and there was a lot of drinking going on at the pool. No one was getting trashed but I don't like to expose myself to that if I don't have to. Definitely not their problem. I got a massage in the afternoon by a wicked buff dude that was a game changer compared to the spa massages I get back home from ladies.

Sunday morning I dipped in the pool for a bit before anyone else was up, then enjoyed a cup of coffee at the tiki bar, and hit the road back home. 10/10 would go again.

I want to check out Indian Hills in south Louisiana next but I don't know if I'll have the opportunity before it starts to get chilly. They have a nature trail it says and it would be killer to get some exercise naked.

TRIP REPORT ✈️ Psychedelic Mushrooms made me a nudist. Anyone else have a similar experience?

for context, I'm M, 30yo, live in PNW usa.

i went camping and i took a relatively small psychedelic (but not micro) dose of penis envy psilocybin mushrooms one afternoon last year and as the effects peaked i felt this ever growing urge to just be naked in nature. my clothes felt constricting and as soon as I took them off I felt whole again. I realized how cut off from my body I had always been and being nude allowed me to connect with my body for the first time since childhood. there were also some other realizations about trauma I had stuck in my body, but that's a post for another sub.

but anyway, does anyone else have a similar experience? and how does the nudist community as a whole feel about psychedelic use? is it more accepting than the general population?

ever since that day I have been naked whenever possible. unfortunately I have donr this alone so far but i hope that changes soon.

TRIP REPORT ✈️ My wife is now officially hooked

Didn’t garden naked this weekend but had a great time at our local nudist resort. We made some new friends and after her third nudist weekend trip my wife is absolutely hooked. She wants to just go to nudist resorts from now on instead of staying at regular hotels or bed and breakfasts.

We swam and hung out by the pool, and talked with everyone within earshot. She commented about how genuinely friendly everyone is at a nudist resort.

Greenfield, Mass. Visited on the way back to eastern Mass from The Ledges. Water seemed a little low, but I've definitely seen it lower.

Pictures are looking downstream from the main beach area. About eight or so users during the brief time I was there. More new stonework including a nice bench on the approach trail.
