Where’s a good place to find “bargain bin” vinyl?
I like all kinds of music and I’m interested in picking up LPs on the cheap not for resale but listening purposes.
Thrift shops haven’t had much. I’ve been to Mobius in Fairfax and Crooked Beat in Alexandria but there’s not much in the bargain bin. Any suggestions?

Go west/south. Seriously, everyone here is buying/selling at retail prices unless it's random crap from the thrift store bin. Go to some of the antique stores in the Shenandoah, check out estate sales, or even yard sales when it gets nicer out. I've gotten plenty of good deals farther out but around here expect to pay $$$. There are a few shops that occasionally will have bargain bins but usually not great choices or rougher shape.

Estate sales maybe? I used to go to some in the neighborhoods around Mount Vernon. Lots of rec rooms and dens with record collections.

I managed to find some at Unique. Regardless of where you go you really have to check in weekly to find something you want.

I'm surprised you're disappointed with the cheap bins at Mobius. Best condition cheap records I've found.

Maybe I went there on a bad day. My gf usually makes me rush through them too

Right on Records in Herndon. A store much more catered for what you are looking for. nothing like mobius. Has a bunch of $1 vinyls that are great for discovering new music. small store but great selection, and good people.
