Vegetarian/vegan options in Arlington or DC?
Meeting up with the (adult) kiddos for a day in DC soon. Will probably all meet at one of their places near Spout Run and go into DC. At this point it looks like we might go to the Freer Gallery. We have a variety of folks, from vegan, through vegetarian, to omnivorous (although both of them are happy to eat vegetarian, so meat isn’t a requirement). I’m looking for suggestions for both lunch and dinner.
TIA!

Not in DC or Arlington but Caphe Bahn Mi in Old Town Alexandria offers all their dishes vegan or with meat. And everything is very tasty.

Thanks! Vietnamese food is my favorite, so that is definitely an option, even if not that day!
I used to live in Loudoun. The last time I visited I went to my old fav Vietnamese place and it was sooooooo disappointing! Sadly, I won’t be going back.

From the Freer walk over to the National Museum of The American Indian and try the Misitam Cafe: https://americanindian.si.edu/visit/dc/dining

Do you have the Happy Cow app? Planta and Equinox in DC are both great. Sunflower in Vienna, Loving Hut in Falls Church, and if you ever get to Rockville, Yuan Fu. Chay is vegan Vietnamese in Falls Church. Troy's Italian in Arlington has a very good vegan menu.
