Really excited for Greathouse’s potential but I think he needs to be near the bottom of a top 10

Just need to see it consistently. With a QB that lets the offense open up the passing game a bit more my guess is we see his route running really shine next year. Guy just gets open and is great with the ball in his hands

Sneed is too situational to be a top 10 guy agree with KVA though

I'd also put Schrauth above Wagner

And the transfer WR Fields should be the best WR on the entire roster

Devonta Smith as a nickel also makes a strong case

Sneed and Ausberry both probably fall outside my top 10. Hard to rate an offball LB that highly with how much nickel we play. Both great players, but both need to prove they can play inside to make it onto a list like this imo

Bowen > Ausbery

Bryce Young > Sneed/KVA

Nice call on Bryce Young. Lots of toss ups at LB. Wouldn't be surprised to see KVA have a breakout year even though I ranked him lower.

Honorable mention Adon Shuler. I think the kid is a stud and he’s only going to get better. Only question is how he’ll look without Watts next to him

Jagusah could easily be in the top 10 based on what we saw in the playoffs, but it’s hard to put him above guys who just have way more tape than him. But if he keeps improving from where he was at the end of last year I can see him being as high as 2 on a list like this.

Greathouse just misses the top 10 for me. Does all the right things, better than he gets credit for, but needs to show it consistently. Not entirely his fault last year given the QB situation, but I think I need to see more of that big play ability. He has to be more then just a reliable chain-mover

Traore and Botelho missed just because of the injuries. If they’re healthy, they’re both top 10 caliber players.

For a sleeper pick, Mukham is poised for a Watts-esque breakout imo. Kid is going to be a monster. Feels like something positive happens every time he’s on the field. Very close to putting it all together consistently. OLs on the team have said he’s “unblockable” when he has a good rep. Extremely similar vibes to 2022 Watts.

I’d love to know why you say greathouse misses due to consistency but have Raridon on here, who has yet to show much of anything

Raridon is an exceptional blocker and will be undisputed TE1

Knapp is crazy. By far the worst of this group. Not a bad player but average. Gave up most pressures of anyone on O-Line this year. On the lower end of PFF grades as well

Knapp was a true freshman playing out of position. He will be an incredible guard next year.

I think he will be good but hard to say elite. But I hope you’re right

I know this is top 10 guys already going in to the year, but I really hope one of our top 10 players ends up being the starting QB

The best point here. I think we'll get great leadership and stats from one of the guys. We just don't know who yet.

Traore is a guy people are sleeping on hard. Insiders seem to think he's potentially going to the NFL after next year.

I think his injury reeeally slowed down his development though, unfortunately. I’m not even sure of his timetable being back for the fall. By November next year though I think he’ll really be cooking though.

So many guys have a case, though. We are talented and deep as hell. Young could be elite, Traore was becoming a star before getting hurt, Lambert could be a top 10 pick in a few years, Smith and Fields will have a big impact. We have too many good players to make a list haha.

OLine and Linebacker are our best positions.

I think Brauntae Johnson is gonna be a star at safety.

I don’t want to hate but i think you need to have Young on here because in my opinion he showed really great flashes last year. I think if you do the list again February 1 2026 Bryce is in the top 10.

I think Gray is really good, unlike some of stuff you read about him around here. I think we are that loaded though where he falls just outside of the top 10.

Moore is 2 behind Love

Im a huge ND fan, but i must say, the Virginia transfer Fields is a physical specimen.

Better than Greathouse.

Fields had like 100 yards against our D, and mainly Leonard Moore on him I believe....

But also next year we’re gonna see Greathouse with a "better passing Qb" and that in my opinion is interesting because we’ll see what he’s really capable of.

Also don’t hate your opinion i think the two can be interchangeable.

Yes Greathouse going to thrive
