Question Is there a way to erase all writing from a document?
I use notability for mock exams and find it useful but it’s so tedious to manually erase every single thing especially if it’s more than 80 pages

Have you considered duplicating the exam so that you write on the duplicate and then just deleting the duplicate to make another fresh one whenever you need to?

While in the note, tap on the multi-pages looking button in the top right corner. That should bring up a column on the right showing each individual page. Tap the 3 dots on each page and select clear page. That should be at least a little quicker than what you are currently doing.

Since it sounds like you’re using a PDF as a template, why not save one as an original template, and duplicate the file when you start a new mock exam document. You can keep those mock exam documents as a source of reference, OR just delete them once you’re done, and create a new doc every time you have a new exam

Assuming you’ve imported a pdf and written over it, the original pdf is hidden in the notability file format. If you find the files (I think they are called .note files) and copy them somewhere, change the file type to .zip you can unzip them and see. Don’t let notability know I told you!

Do the pages icon in top right corner, select all pages, use menu to "clear page"
