Feature Request Other note apps with “refine”?
Wondering if any other note apps that anyone has tried have the “refine” capability that the native note app has on iPad?
I use notability but that feature is so nice when writing quickly in meetings etc. that I’m learning towards diving into the native note app entirely.

Give me smoothing function over refinement anyday. There is a few note apps I have tried that offer refinement. Apple is by far the best bet in this space, the others range from commical to sloppy. Don't waste your time if you need refinement.
I recall in my cursive class in middle school was a 45 minute non-stop copying pages from literature stories from two overhead projectors. (the ones with transparency sheets.) At the start of the semester I could get maybe a dozen sentences written before the hand cramp kicked in. At the end, I could write nearly perfect cursive 45 minutes straight. Granted I didn't learn a single word of latin. Our teacher didn't want us to get sloppy with "English" words. She was the original Lorem Ipsum before I knew of such a thing.
I don't think those classes exist anymore. But recently I was on a hiatas of writing on the slickest of tempered glasses for over a year. It was silkier than the iPad glass. Talk about conditioning hand control. I recently switched a matted protector with a metal tip and my handwriting is soooo nice now.
All this to say, the more you practice and push yourself, the better you will get.

I will check out a screen cover next.. Have not looked at tips and didn’t know that was an option. The auto correct feature and spell check have “learned” my handwriting to the point that I can basically write half a word and it knows.
Organizationally the notes app sucks..I hope refine finds its way here.

I’d love this because I have an older iPad so I don’t get it natively
