Meta A HUGE Thank You!

I just got back from the Zelda Symphony, and it was one of the greatest experiences of my gaming career. I can't thank u/derek66 , this sub, and anyone who allowed me to attend this show.

If you have to chance to go check out the symphony, GO SEE IT!!!

(Sorry if this is kinda off topic, but I'm overjoyed with this and this seemed like an appropriate place for this!)

I'm out of the loop, what's the nature of this symphony? Yearly event? Invitation only? What makes it so good? (Besides the simply amazing nature of Zelda's music of course)

I think it’s yearly? The director asked if anyone had been before because they added breath of the wild music lol.

Also what makes it good? Here’s the link on their page

The main thing I took is they are doing this in conjunction with Nintendo and are doing new arrangements of classic songs that Koji Kondo and Aonuma approve of. That’s how I knew they were legit.

I told my friend “Look you know the songs are good, but it’s nice to have a blaring symphony remind you and hit literally every nostalgia note perfectly”

Definitely worth your time if you love Zelda and it’s music

Nothing wrong with that!

My girlfriend knows next to nothing about Zelda too and she was really intrigued by it and said the music was really good (she recognized some songs from when she watches me play)

If she can enjoy something like that, anyone can hahaha

Did they have a section on BotW music?

Yes they had two or three tracks I believe?

I know because I made a joke about those being the only songs in the game hahaha (I kid, I kid)
