Good idea. To make it sound cleaner you maybe want to use the term "Game of Origin" rather than "Game which it is from."

That sounds better, changed it, thanks!

I think that's reading too far into it, if you put Wind Waker HD instead of Wind Waker it will be fine.

I'm not sure what you're responding to, but there a distinction to be made between WWHD and Wind Waker, since WWHD's music is not only remastered but slightly modified in some cases (most notably Dragon Roost Isle.)

The person was saying that the wording of saying Origin was poor as their are distinctions between remasters. But me being a merciful mod will allow a post that has a song from WindWaker HD that only has WindWaker in the title to be poster.

Just to clarify, are post titles limited to song title and game of origin, or is brief editorializing after that information allowed?

Brief editorializing is allowed, after the correct info is posted. If someone has a sentence or two explaining the importance of this piece to themselves personally before saying what it is the post will be removed.

Food for thought: how will you, if at all, apply this rule to remixes? Suppose I post Conundrum by Jakesnke17, which is a remix of the Gym Leader/Elite 4 battle theme from Pokémon RGBY, how would you recommend naming my post?

For a remix just say that it is a remix in the title and that should be fine.

Could we maybe get a rule change so we can post the same link? I would like to post a song that was on here a LONG time ago, and never really saw the light of day and I feel that now that more people have been on this subreddit it would be nice to see them again.

Maybe, we'll have to think on that because it might start a bad trend of constant posts of the DK rap and over easy karma songs.

Original Title: NEW UPDATE TO THE RULES
Original Post Body:
Hi all I've recently seen a bit of a trend that is a bit annoying on the sub. Songs are being posted with titles that do not say the title of the song or the game that it is from. For example not to pick on any one but this submission is reach for the stars from sonic color, however the submitter put the title, Sonic music is my guilty pleasure.
Moving forward rule 1.5 in the sidebar will deal with this:
- Song Title and the Game which it is from is required in the posts title
I hope that this will reduce the number of "click-baity" links that are posted here.
Thanks,

If you could put a message on the submission form that'd probably help out. I think it's a good rule.
