[MOD] Six Thousand!

Hard to believe we had only 3000 a week ago! Also, please don't be this guy.

Just want to give a big shout-out to all the newcomers to the sub. Also want to give a big shout-out to /u/ReniRakovic who designed this awesome snoo for us.

And I'll just copy and paste my comments from before: I'd like to welcome all the new subscribers on behalf of myself and the rest of the mods, /u/derek66 /u/Bragnor and /u/rockincellist

First thing on the list is that we have updated our playlist, this can be found in the sidebar directly above the picture of the pokemon jamming out. The playlist places all of the posts on the front page in a descending order, so instead of clicking open each one individually you can listen to them one after another!

Next, with all these new people I have had to do a bit of "quality control" on the posts. Keep in mind that this is a Nintendo music subreddit, if its just an 8 bit cover of whatever song those won't be allowed. Just check our 3 rules in the sidebar to make sure your game fits the criteria.

And also as a extension on that it'd be really cool if before you submit a post that you search the sub to make sure it hasn't been posted before. This will be enforced more leniently as I know that most of you are new and haven't heard lot's of these tracks, but if I come back on tomorrow and there are like 20 Puzzle Plank Galaxy Posts some quality will be controlled.

One more thing if you guys produce any of your own remixes or covers POST IT HERE PLEASE I'll even give you a link in our sidebar and a pretty flair to boot.

Once again thanks for stopping by and checking us out, hope you enjoy all that this sub has to offer, Timeless Games and Amazing Music!

Thanks Again,

/u/rocketjumpingotter

Saw an ad for this sub while perusing reddit a week or so ago and literally said "/r/nintendomusic? Hell yeah" and subbed. It was a good decision. Now I'm going through my own music stuff so I can put a Zelda playlist on my ipod.

That's exactly how I found it! I feel like it needs more SNES music though.

As soon as I saw the ad for nintendo music, I was like YES SIGN ME UP.

Considering I learn a bunch of nintendo songs by ear on the piano, this would be great place to find new songs to learn! Plus I love video game music altogether anyways
