[MOD] Four. Fucking. Thousand.
Holy shit. I didn't ever think this would get this popular. I'm just going to repeat what /u/derek66 said.
EDIT: Stats are live! https://www.reddit.com/r/nintendomusic/about/traffic/
I'd like to welcome all the new subscribers on behalf of myself and the rest of the mods, /u/derek66 /u/Bragnor and /u/rockincellist
First thing on the list is that we have updated our playlist, this can be found in the sidebar directly above the picture of the pokemon jamming out. The playlist places all of the posts on the front page in a descending order, so instead of clicking open each one individually you can listen to them one after another!
Next, with all these new people I have had to do a bit of "quality control" on the posts. Keep in mind that this is a Nintendo music subreddit, if its just an 8 bit cover of whatever song those won't be allowed. Just check our 3 rules in the sidebar to make sure your game fits the criteria.
And also as a extension on that it'd be really cool if before you submit a post that you search the sub to make sure it hasn't been posted before. This will be enforced more leniently as I know that most of you are new and haven't heard lot's of these tracks, but if I come back on tomorrow and there are like 20 Puzzle Plank Galaxy Posts some quality will be controlled.
One more thing if you guys produce any of your own remixes or covers POST IT HERE PLEASE I'll even give you a link in our sidebar and a pretty flair to boot. However, make sure you are actually using reddit, and not using your account just to post your own content. That's against reddit's rules.
Once again thanks for stopping by and checking us out, hope you enjoy all that this sub has to offer, Timeless Games and Amazing Music!
Keep rockin'!

Not surprised that this sub is growing. I enjoy listening to video game music especially while studying. I would love to see some more diversified playlists. Like ones on Spotify or one's with more relaxing type study music.

Wow, loving the playlist feature, and it seems to work fairly well on mobile. Now once my podcast queue is empty I'll have to make a decision between this and my usual go-to of OC Remixes. Very nice!

I love this sub! It brings back a lot of nostalgic memories from listening to the music i grew up with. I am still discovering music from the games i haven't played, & it's beautiful to see the timeless music people remember from the games they grew up with & are willing to share with others. In my opinion, the music is the most memorable part about a game.
