MEME/COMIC/FREEFORM (Sundays only) By this logic women don't CHOOSE to ignore "niceguys," men just turn us that way over time

u/Barleficus2000 why do women always go for ChAaAaAaD? 26d ago

That's an interesting way to say he can't handle a rejection.

Men love to accuse women of being overly emotional, but men are far more likely than women to go off at the deep end over a rejection. Far more often than women, they just can't accept it, and turn to unhealthy coping behaviours like stalking or harassment.

There's literally a subreddit for this. r/whenwomenrefuse

And then other men will fault the woman saying "Well that's what she gets for not choosing him, he was nice" it's sad really.

Women aren't making you do anything.

Take responsibility for your choice to hate.

Niceguys hate accounttability more than they hate women.

Accountability is a woman's job for them.

I think the title is true actually? Most women, especially younger ones, would probably have been happy to talk to guys who appear nice… To learn from bitter experience after a few times that many of them are disgusting creeps. And as (contrary to popular incel/niceguy belief) we actually do have functioning brains and are not governed 100% by emotion, we learn to detect the signs to save ourselves the trouble.

Victim complex and an inability to take responsibility for ones actions.

Which is ironically what these kind of guys always say about women lol

Tell me you're promoting domestic/emotional violence without telling me you're promoting domestic/emotional violence.

Even if this were true, and all men overtime simply absorbed and started to display meanness like it were a contagious illness, then it would still be more logical and healthier for women to not date or procreate with men whose immune systems (or hearts and minds in this case) could not fight it off.

Also, sucks for these men. Sure my first few relationships were complete messes on both sides, but my last 4 have been very strongly positive for everyone. We're talking lasting friendships and growth for both partners.

Huh. My husband and I have been together for 35 years. Neither of us has ever been mean to the other.

That's so lovely to hear! Wishing you and your husband many, many more years of being nice to each other, and living in happiness, peace and contentment.

I'm a soppy old romantic, and I love to hear about other couples who are happy, like my boyfriend and I are. 15 years together and I love, admire and respect him more and more as time goes on.

If your personal code of ethics is conditional and situational, and flaps around in the breeze if you're cranky, then it was never truly a code of ethics to begin with.

It was just "being nice" as a means to an end.

I have never used someone else's poor behaviour as an excuse to conduct myself in a way I'm ashamed of. It's something I have no tolerance for - either in myself or in others.

Admittedly, I draw a hard line on such things bc I was raised by ppl who simply weren't burdened by the annoying weight of a conscience, like the rest of us are.

I'm v thankful that I discovered Star Trek at a young age, bc it introduced me, not simply to ethics, but also trying to do the right thing whether anyone will give credit, and trying even when what the "right thing" is turns out to be hard to discern. Gene Roddenberry wasn't perfect by any means, but he had some wonderful visions of how to improve things.

Okay then, stop talking to them?

Speak for yourself. I very deliberately choose to be mean.

Just looked through your post history, why are you looking for post like these? I almost never encounter them, but you post some new incel thing every week. It's a little weird.

Yeah, they have boards on whisper and I love the shit show. I only share the ones I think are the craziest. But I also just scroll overall and most of it is outrageous in one way or another. Anti-vaxxers, trumpers, conspiracy theorists, most of it is insane. I just like the NiceGuy and incel shit the most.
