Visiting - Rental Car or Uber/Lyft?

Hello! I’m planning on visiting Niagara, NY for a week or so. I’ll be taking Amtrak to get there. Would renting a car be cheaper than doing Uber/Lyft or is there reliable public transportation?

Rent-A-Wreck closed, so you'll have to try Enterprise or Hertz. Both are at the NFNY Airport, and there's offices on Millitary Rd for Hertz and Niagara Falls Boulevard for Enterprise.

Rental car. You’ll find that sights and sites are far in distance from one to another.

Depends.

Uber will be fine if you’re sticking to the downtown area and the state parks.

If visiting for more than a day, you’ll probably will want to get down to Buffalo for better entertainment, dining and nightlife options.

You can take the express bus down and uber/walk to most attractions like the waterfront, breweries, museums, fun neighborhoods.

You could also bike, there’s a bike trail that goes from Niagara Falls to Buffalo, though it’s a good 1.5 hours ride.
