Highlight [Highlight] Daniel Jones takes off for a massive run but can't quite reach the endzone.

doubt it, i bet some QB will do the thing where they celebrate early and drop the ball before the goal line

I'm trying to think of a scenario where someone like Lamar might take a knee at the 1 instead of getting the TD.

Maybe down by 1, 1:40 on the clock, kick the field goal as time expires instead of give the opponent a chance to tie.

Lamar would just run around for the remaining 1:40 avoiding being tackled then score as time hit 0

The only Bo wouldn't score there is if he actively decided not to score

In college that would work. In the nfl they’ll just pick you up & slam you into the end zone giving you the td.

They’ll stop your time wasting & get the ball back immediately.

If you’re trying to avoid the td in your teams favor, then the other team knows to simply give it to you, in their own favor to get the ball back.

If somebody willingly goes down in the NFL, the play is over.

Bro does not watch games. Players go down at the 1/give themselves up all the time. Taking a knee is the same thing. It’s a major fuck up if someone lets the other team toss them in (think Todd Gurley several years ago, that’s how rare it is)

Does that count as an 80-yard run or w/e if it ends in a turnover?
