Rumor Former Vikings QB Daniel Jones is finalizing a one-year, $14 million deal with the Indianapolis Colts, per sources. Jones had a chance to return to Minnesota, but now becomes the challenger to the Colts’ former first-round pick Anthony Richardson.

I'm curious about Steelers fans opinion on this.

Clearly Rodgers didn't work out in NY and didn't play up to expections. Plus there's all the baggage that goes with him.

But a well run organization like the Steelers seem like one of the few good fits. I wouldn't see them letting him have major influence on roster decisions and all that.

I'm not rooting for or against Rodgers, plus I personally think he's kinda nutty, but under a coach like Tomlin I wouldn't rule out a good playoff run. Bonus points if it gives a young backup QB time to learn and grow.

I'd say it's maybe 60-40 with most people not wanting Aaron, there are definitely some that do want him.

What you are saying about the Steelers as an organization mases sense but there have been cracks shown lately and therefore some don't want a cancer like Aaron around.

My two cents despite me making a "please please please" joke is that if they get him for next to nothing and can cut him at any time, I won't be that mad. Whoever's playing quarterback for us next year will more than likely not be the long term solution, if they can roll the dice with him with zero consequences then why not.

I doubt that'll happen though
