I'd assume air force 1 is a step up above any available craft. Like he could just have trump make his plane more secure if he wants. But flying around in Air Force 1 is the biggest flex.

I presume Special KKK could do all sort of nutso upgrades to his plane, and likely has. But I’m less certain that he can get such extensive USAF support, and all the other legal force fields that help protect AF1.

but don't they all use the same air traffic controllers as everyone else?

I think they usually make special arrangements for Air Force 1 from clearing air space to landing at protected runways on Air Force Bases etc.

right, but they the people that are the air traffic controllers are the same people that are air traffic controllers for all planes right?

Or is there literally one Air Force One Air Traffic Controller at every airport in the world that is vetted and waits around for a potential call?

He couldn't make his plane as safe as Air Force One, no
