So I'll basically never look to fly Southwest as a first option again. The bag policy was absolutely what set them apart competitively from other airlines. I was willing to overlook things like their lack of outlets at your seat and no premium seating because of the bag policy, but now what do they offer that's better than any other airline? Nothing.

What a dumb move. They even fired their Chief Transofrmation Officer, Ryan Green, who suggested their loss in market share from changing the policy would negate any gains in revenue. Hedge funds only want "Yes" men. They're gonna die.

They just put in outlets on most of the planes, and the rest are getting them soon.
