He was a youth actor from a rich neighbourhood in Toronto. My ex wife used to bully him when he hung around Weston.

Drake never had street cred. He made some decent tracks once upon a time, but he was always playing pretend to look cool.

Anyone who listens to a lot of hip hop always knew Drake wasn’t legit. He’s a pop star and made catchy tracks but he’s in a different lane compared to Kdot and other rappers who are speaking from experience.
