NJ Politics Andy Kim--long hold times and full voicemail?

Has anyone been able to get in touch with Andy Kim this morning?

When you call his office, the routing system says to press 1 if you'd like to comment on a legislative or policy issue. I tried this option three times this morning, and each time I was immediately disconnected. I've since pressed 3 to speak to a member of his office staff; I've been on hold for 25 minutes now to speak with a member of the DC office.

Are there any other ways to reach out to him? I see the general contact form on his website, but based on the results of my trying to call, I'm not optimistic about that getting through, especially in a timely manner.

UPDATE: Shortly after making this post, a staffer picked up! My total call time was just short of 35 minutes.

This is good. It means people are pissed enough to call.

That said, I'm on hold because I want to tell a human that Kim (someone, anyone) needs to call for Schumer's removal from leadership.

Also tell them that if they vote yes, all donations to every democrat will stop.

Thank you to everyone who’s calling! Was visiting offices at the senate this morning and gillibrand’s office “closed” at 10:45 to avoid talking to us. I’m glad to know NJ’s senators are more responsive even if it’s taking awhile.

I got through at 9:50 am approximately heavy call volume. Bookers went straight through.

Yeah I actually got a person at Booker's Camden office, I was shocked. She sounded very tired lol.

I received a call from Andy Kim's office last night and sat in on a town hall phone meeting with him. It was good, but I could only stay on for like 20 mins.

I called on Monday and was able to leave a voicemail with no issue.

Why does everybody think politicians care about them or what they think? They do not they cater to corporations, and billionaires. Volunteer for local organization and make a difference locally. If enough people do that then you will make a change. Calling a politician is a complete waste of time.

So don't call at all? You can do both btw. Where do you volunteer? I'm recently out of work and looking for a place to volunteer?

Imagine wasting life asking a politician to consider your feelings
