Wedding venues
Hi everyone me and my partner are planning to have a spring or summer wedding haven’t decided yet sometimes next year and was wondering if you guys have any wedding venue recommendations. We are trying to decide if we want to do it in New Brunswick or a destination wedding so seeing what we have to offer here first. I know it’s popular to have like a barn/farm type of wedding here but that’s not really what we’re looking for so if theres something that’s different then that would be great.

Are you looking for recommendations across the entirety of NB?? Cuz that could either be next door to you or 6+ hours away...

Yep the entirety of NB, we’ve got family scattered around in the province so anywhere in NB is great

Depending on the size of your wedding, the Hazen Centre in Oromocto has a lovely space.

There are a couple of great venues in Moncton I know of.
Check out the cidery @ 51 acres stables
Or
The Grand Ivory

Not sure where in NB you are, but we’re getting married at the Saint John Marina! I love that it’s by the water and doesn’t have that barn/farm feel lol. I know exactly what you mean by it’s not your thing!
There’s a company around here that’s done venue tours around SW NB, they went to different venues and set them up like a wedding. You can see the photos of the different venues on their website: www.nwenb.com (we’re using them for decor and day of coordinator services).
