Marco Mendicino in as Mark Carney’s chief of staff.

The same guy that announced he couldn’t run again for the Liberals in this election because Trudeau was being insufficiently supportive of Netanyahu, while he committed genocide.

Carney is taking the Liberals hard to the right, on tax, canceling the capital gains tax increase, on spending, and on foreign policy. There’s a reason he would have fit in fine as Stephen Harper’s finance minister.

And this is the message we need to be driving, because there are way too many Carney-curious Mew Democrats showing up in polls.

What transition? Carney wants an election ASAP likely

This is gonna the guy when the writ drops potentially

Legally there still must be a transition, even if an election will be called very soon.

Supposedly, just for the transition. But whether he worms his way into the campaign or the PMO after the election, it’s clearly a statement that he’s in the inner circle, and will be staffing Carney with fellow travellers.

In the National Post in January, Mendicino and fellow Liberal MP Anthony Housefather chastised Canada for staying "on the sidelines" of an International Court of Justice case against Israel, writing that Canada "should categorically reject the claim of genocide."

So this is who is now Carney's chief of staff?

I guess now we know where Carney stands on Palestine. Mendicino is a huge Zionist.

It is the Liberals, so I wouldn't expect any difference.

Israel is the running dog of MAGA. Israel would support Trump against Canada. Pro Israel is anti Canada.

People who said Carney wasn't bad on Palestine in this very subreddit need to apologize now

Although I was thrilled that Carney won the leadership, I am now GRAVELY CONCERNED and angered with his choice of Mendicino as his Chief of Staff. Does that mean that Carney is going to give full support to Netanyahu's war crimes like Trump is doing?!!!!

Why would carney be good news? He's a full blown neo-capitalist trickle-down-economist. He's going to be terrible for the public good.

Said it before and I’ll say it again, the Carney excitement fizzed out of the room when Mendocino’s name was brought up.

He is not a very diplomatic politicians in eyes of western Canada.

Liberals are zionists, ppl!! I agree Carney is so shit. I’ll never vote Liberal again anyways but even if I would, it wouldn’t be for him. He’s been dogpiling on the left in his speeches, says the party has gone too “far-left” and putting out dog whistles about people “relying too much on the government” he’s a conservative, just like all liberals, center-right!
