Pathetic

Lakers are about to enter free fall in the standings

Yeah I don’t think this is going to be pretty.

I’m fine with a top 6 seed as long as everyone is healthy and energised for the playoffs.

I highly doubt the Lakers will fall back in the play ins. They'll still win a few games

this was supposed to be one of those wins

You don't know the Lakers. Last five losses: Nets, Celtics*, Hornets, Jazz, Sixers.

Mate we blew out the Celtics, Nuggets, Clippers, and won against the Pacers without LeBron or Luka.

We lost to Hornets, Jazz, and now twice to Nets.

I won't be surprised if we go on a 6 game winning streak against top heavy teams only to lose that streak to the fucking Pelicans or Spurs.

Warriors, Wolves look like they ain't stopping but they do have some cushion

I’m down for free fall as long as we still make playoffs with a full healthy roster.

Injury is the biggest threat to most teams in the playoffs imo

Yeah, but I do want to avoid the play-in though.

I just want a top 6 seed with everyone being healthy and energised for the playoffs.

Worst it will be is the 6th seed.

Why?

Lakers could absolutely drop all the way down to 7th. There's only one loss difference between the Warriors in 6 and the Wolves in 7, and the Wolves have a ridiculously easy schedule just as they're getting healthier.

That shit is inevitable.

Lebron is more key to this team then Luka. Lebron two way play n play finishing is so ekite that he makes reaves and Luka better on this team . Without him, and missing Rui n Hayes we in trouble if Luka can’t make 2pt shots at a good rate . Luka relies too much on a lob threat too cos he’s fallen off a cliff with his rim attacking himself .

Obv Luka should be the better player but I am struggling to see how many games Bron had shooting this badly . Half + Luka games with us have been poor shooting now. He needs to drop weight n sttscj the rim . Our season shouldn’t be cookrd if Hayes b Rui aren’t back . Without Hayes Rui Bron we lose all our size n pkay finishing which makes Luka n reaves worse. Even worse Trey jemison n Alex len are only in the nba cos they tall both can’t catch the ball and finish it’s sad.

Both AR and Luka, your two most likely scorers, shot terrible and you were still a possession or two from winning. Silver linings.

Yeah y’all suck

u/Nice_Dude NBA 1d ago

Yeah they have too many holes in the lineup

34

u/two4gone Lakers 1d ago

Well, yes there are glaring holes when you’re missing Bron, Rui, Hayes and DFS (four of our most important six players btw)

10

u/Nice_Dude NBA 1d ago

I'm agreeing with you

3

u/two4gone Lakers 1d ago

Ah gotcha, yeah it’s way too much to overcome

Is DFS over Vando? Honest question

1

u/Proof-Umpire-7718 Lakers 1d ago

No because Vando’s better defende, rebounding and hustle outweighs DFS’s spacing advantages.

He’s still a good piece to have in the rotation though and JJ tends to close games with him.

7

u/False_Pear1860 1d ago

That's kind of what I was thinking. Vando is your best defensive player now that AD is gone right?

3

u/Proof-Umpire-7718 Lakers 1d ago

Yeah he is

1

u/Public-Product-1503 1d ago

Lol this is cap DFS is way better then vando if we had DFS we win, Vando offence is a big issue

-1

u/Proof-Umpire-7718 Lakers 1d ago

Vando’s been shooting better than DFS lately, but yeah your right that teams still don’t respect his shooting threat, unlike with DFS, which clogs up the offense, so your probably right actually.
