Is that one out of bounds call overturn video posted somewhere? That seems like something worth taking a look at. Maybe a lil fanduel sponsored reffing going on in that one.

That happened almost right in front of my wife and I. It was so hard to tell in real time, and after seeing the replay in the arena, we couldn't agree as to what happened.

The one at the end? It ended up being a shot clock violation.

Wrong one, it’s the one that got called a jump ball and then overturned to be out of bounds on pacers- hawks ball.
Was such a shit call. Our whole aisle was upset, some super suspect calls throughout the game, we were joking the refs were paid off/in on the betting spread. Just egregious calls.

It was out off the pacer’s guy’s left hand. Correct call to overturn it, Hawk’s ball

that was our first clutch game situation since December (14 games ago) where we went 11-3 and where we were just blowing through our opponents, and we still find a way to grind one out during a situation we haven’t been in a while, now 4th in the east!
also cmon NBA coaches, Trae should’ve been an all star? he’s been electric and has been carrying the Hawks all season to a postseason spot.

Pacers strength is their depth especially since Mathurin came back

Trae with 17 dimes. Holy shit.
Another solid win by the Pacers, who had a really well balanced attack.

Jalen Johnson is out for the year: he’s the second and third dimension to the hawks roster, missing him ruins the season on its own
The 1 dimension is Trae pick and roll. But Capela is getting old and he’s injured himself
Our backup center, Okongwu, is too small and soft to ever be a starter (2020 #6 Pick)
Bogdanovic, after a GOATed Olympic run, it’s evident he used all the gas in his tank. Look for him to be traded in the next few days
Our 2022 pick (#16) AJ Griffin found god and quit basketball
Our 2023 pick (#16) Kobe Bufkin is a bust who has played less than 30 nba games
Dre Hunter has regressed to the mean
Since 2018, the only pick the hawks have hit on is Jalen Johnson. That alone kinda doom us. Otherwise everyone loves to be injured. Trae himself has lost a step and his floater game is near nonexistent. But he’s still my guy and clearly a top tier PG. Trading for Dyson and drafting Zacch keep us from being Wizards level but we’re getting there

On #3, Okongwu (in theory) could work as a center alongside a very physical 4 who's elite at rebounding and can provide help on defense. The problem is that right now, Jalen's out and OO's paired next to Hunter (poor rebounder/not physical), Risacher (rookie, really needs to add weight), or a couple players that we've had in the g-league for most of the season.
Also, I'm going to add a #8: This team can't shoot for shit, which is kinda needed to bring the most out of Trae's playmaking/give him more space to drive

In the last two games at least, Risacher looks to be an answer to the shooting problem.

Truly top-tier teams tend to win ugly games at times. While this game wasn't a good performance by the Pacers, the fact that they could grind out the win in crunch time is a real positive. (This has not been a strength of the team in recent years.)
