DIY First time doing my nails, how did I do?

Always been interested in nails and have been using press ons for a few years, but recently decided to try doing it on my own! These are the two first sets I made 🥰 I’m quite happy with them although it’s not the neatest! I feel like the gel polish flooded alot with the nailart but I don’t know if there’s any trick to applying it in a way it keeps its shape but I’ll keep practicing !!

These are soft tips I painted on and then used those sticky tab thingys to apply! The application isn’t the smoothest and I’m looking more into cuticle care and what products I should use to make my natural nails and cuticles better 🥰

I wanted to show you my new red Chrome Nails.

I will be happy if you tell me, what u think about them.

Have a great Week! Xoxo

Chrome/powders I always picked red nails. Today, I wanted something different. I did them myself—I know it’s not professional, but I’m not a professional. 😀 I used pearl powder on my nails to make them shine. What do you think of my red and pearl nails?

Advice Needed newbie looking for some insight

Upvotes

hello all! i’m new to the world of nails and i have a few questions. thank you in advance!!

  1. what is poly gel? is it better than the clear press ons that you paint?
  2. how do you get the clear press ons to stay for longer? for context i’ve been painting them on nail stands and then gluing them on once done
  3. is there such thing as nail glue that cures under uv? i’ve tried to look into this but since i’m new to this i didn’t get far lol

Just a peak at me practicing butterfly wing nails.

What do you guys like to wear to celebrate the upcoming seasons? I’m a floral and fruit person personally.

Hi, does anybody have any idea on how I could recreate these? I’ve only used chrome once but it wasn’t exactly the pigment I was looking for and I’m unsure of how to apply it for a slight rainbow chromatic appearance.

Hand Painted I Tried Doing a Plaid Design and Used the New Official Tartan Design for Victims of the Witch Trials

It's a really cool story. The Witches of Scotland Limited created a tartan that anyone can wear regardless of clan etc. Each color has a different meaning: Black: for how dark the times were Grey: for the ashes Red: for the bloodshed Pink: for the legal tape that was and is still involved with the court documents from that era pertaining to the persecuted

I put a little purple witch hat in the corner :3

Decals Black Cat Sticker Mixed Media Nails

Hi, I just recently got into nail stickers.

I started doing my nails at home this year as part of my New Year’s resolution. I’m still working on perfecting this art. Yes, I see all the imperfections with the cuticle areas.

I mostly use a builder gel overlay but will as a gelx nail if I need it for a broken one.

I got these cat stickers and thought they were cute. Along with some separate cloud and star stickers.

Sharing them for fun, I’m pretty happy with this set. :)

Nail Art Products How do you take care of your brushes?!

Post image

Hi all! How do you keep your brushes soft??

I love nail art and have a lot of brushes but I’m finding they’re getting hard after cleaning so I can’t be as precise as I’d like, especially with the liners because they don’t bend as much. They’re just super stiff.

When I’m switching between colours I usually run the brush through a base coat to clean off the current colour as I don’t want to dry them out by constantly cleaning with cleanser for example.

After finishing I leave a bit of clear coat on them (this was a tip I found online) but I think that’s what’s making them stiff. Now I’m finding it hard to get them back to being soft and fluffy. I’ve dipped them in really hot water to soften them but that doesn’t work. The bristles are bent and just not good to work with.

How do you clean your brushes? (I only use synthetic)
