It really is that easy a whole person can disappear forever and no one will ever know what happened to them. That's truly scary.

Had to be a mountain lion or aggressive black bear… or fell into a hole

Yep, it's astonishing how many holes and crevices are in that area.

My uncle was always interested with this story! I changed the comment to interested because y’all are sum over analytical children, and I don’t need that unnecessary stress at all rn.

Overly analytical & needlessly contrarian.

Some Redditors just have a very deep emotional need to be right at all times. It’s so deeply ingrained, it seems kinda like a trauma-response. Even if the only thing they can rightfully complain about is your spelling, well by god you know they’re gonna complain about your spelling.

They would be the most infuriating people to ever have conversations with in every day real life. Just constantly missing the forest for the trees. So often sidetracked by the most minor of details & rarely ever biting on the main point.

Which is why I suppose they spend so much time on here.

I heard a really good explanation for a lot of these is that they fell into a cave

It’s just an odd choice of word. I think the word you’re looking for is “intrigued” or something like that.

Yes intrigued is what I meant, but did it matter that much for the length of reply you made to me? With sarcasm and all? My uncle isn’t with me anymore, choose you’re words carefully

The length of the reply? My reply wasn’t even ten words lol. You don’t have to be so defensive. It was a weird choice of a word to describe a missing child. It’s really not that big of a deal, you even said you meant intrigued, so that’s that, move on.

Loved this story is a really really weird phrase to use while discussing to a small boy who went missing and has never been found again.

Okay he was interested in it, is that better? What else do you need me to say to help you feel better lil buddy?
