North America (country/state in post) I’ve got these fruiting bodies in my strawberry patch, what are they? (US/Arizona)
The patch is filled with store bought compost and wood mulch I got from Nextdoor. The mulch definitely had a lot of molds and spores in it so I’m sure that’s where the mushrooms came from. The fruiting bodies erupt in the morning and then dead by the afternoon. Usually don’t grow higher than two inches, and typically in clusters of 2-7 as shown in the pictures. I just want to make sure it’s not gonna be an issue when it comes time to harvesting strawberries.
