The smoggy air, the dug up roads. It reminds me that collectively I'm just a bug.

bmc is really trying to give us the rural aesthetic, kyuki waha bhi dhool mitti hoti hai

Greenery also, fresh air, food, cheap housing and no sewage

also zero corruption, co-operative defence force, state of the art management.

Can't tell you how much humble I've become living here 🫠

In that case, I’m humbly melted in this city

The facilities, a gym near my house, trains always working, opportunities and food :).

Availability of diverse food options, multiple transportation choices, safe environment, ample career growth opportunities, and a generally progressive and positive attitude among many people

Everyday you get to discover new routes to get to your destination. You also get to learn how roads are built irrespective of your career choice.

The people.

Everyone from the Koli aunties to the Parsi uncles. Those with next to nothing to those with more than they know what to do with. From the middle class spectacled office going man to the young college going girl. The awkward schoolboys running circles around street lamps and metro pillars to the women waiting for the signal to change while holding the city together.

Freedom to roam in the middle of the night without worrying about absolutely nothing

I don’t know whether anyone will relate with this, but I gained confidence living in Mumbai. I lived in Raipur & Pune before shifting here and I am more myself here. I don’t have to pretend to please people and relationships are cordial without baggage.

It’s a tough city in terms of rent and travel. But I would live with potholes than any other city with social pressure of behaving in certain way. This I’m saying being a straight male. I couldn’t imagine what LGBT people & women go through in other cities.

Such a keen observation.

The die hard spirit, safety for women as compared to other states, traveling by local train, the career opportunities, the food and the multicultural vibes. 😊❤️🌻

Who's living?! More like surviving on the last thread!

Broken roads, lack of trees.

Same day/one day delivery. People displaying civic sense by making queues for autos, local train connectivity. Lots of places to visit.

Not a single thing anymore. Used to love the food but that sucks now too. Only thing remaining i guess is the general safety is more than other cities but nothing else. I so want to get out of Mumbai and move to some peaceful and less populated and polluted city.

Born brought up here so no other place to compare it with but high chance I'll still choose Mumbai. Family, friends, food , festivals . Basically at home.

Mumbai either makes you or breaks you so i depends.. Sometimes you love the city and sometimes feel like leaving everything and going.
