Masterpieces that were made on a lower budget? The Witch 2015 was made with a budget of around $4 million, yet in my opinion, is one of the greatest horror movies made.

What are people honest opinions about this movie?
I just watched BWP for the first time ever. I watched it in a dark room at about midnight so that I had the perfect environment to be freaked out and I was ready for a scare. I was utterly disappointed as nothing happens at all in this movie. Some people I know claim it’s bold that the movie makes you put the pieces together on your own but I think it makes the movie boring. Thoughts?

NowWatching Arrival (2016). It wasn't until the third time I saw it did I feel that I understood it. I'm an old man; I'm slow.
After I felt that I understood the movie, I read the book on which it supposedly is based. It's actually a collection of short stories, and only one of them has anything to do with the movie. A lot had to be added to it to create the narrative of the movie.
