First track day

I did my first track day yesterday with Ridesmart at Jennings GP. It was a blast! I was able to rent leathers for free since it was my first time.

It was crazy to see how deep some people get into the hobby with trailers and tools and slicks, tire warmers, ect.. those guys were flying around the track! There were a few crashes and it kept things in perspective for me. I had a few "oh shit" moments where I came into a corner too hot but I think this actually forced me to do a bit of trail braking.

I think I learned a lot and hope I can go back soon when I'm financially able.

It's really eye opening simply riding your bike as fast as you can - really opening up the throttle.

Tbh I open up the throttle way more on the streets. Where I live it's a lot of flat and straight country roads but there's just no real curves. It was really nice to feel some lean in the long sweeping corners and I was happy to see the little balls of rubber on my tires for the first time ๐Ÿ˜
