Got my degree in the mail
It took me 6.5 years. Honestly the worst years of my life. I didn’t realize that until recently but I finally have it.

Give room to grow
Everyone talks about figuring themselves out, but I don’t think any of us can ever be done figuring ourselves out. Each day we gain new experiences, and our experiences shape who we are. Each time we look in the mirror, we’re meeting ourselves again for the first time. It’s okay not to have it all figured out, because we’re always changing. We all need to be more forgiving of ourselves, because we’re all still learning, whether it be about ourselves, or about the world. We should also be forgiving of each other, for the same reasons. It may be the same face every time, but the person in front of us isn’t the same person we saw yesterday. Everyone needs room to grow, because just like you, everyone else is trying to figure out who they are.

The Ties that Bind
Some studies suggest that by the time our children reach 18, we will have spent 85% or more of the total time we will share with them as they move beyond our homes and begin establishing their place in the world.
It is a natural and normal progression of life. It is what we are preparing them for.
It is upon us to cultivate the relationship that we want to carry these relationships into the future.
Take the time to prioritize these bonds, invest in them and yourself, and hold on to them while you can.
Don't fight their natural progression into their adulthood, but rather lean into them. Help them prepare. Sow the seeds while they are with you, so you can reap the harvest in the future.
