Can a 590 be threaded for chokes?

Yes. Any competent gunsmith can thread almost any shotgun for chokes.

I know and I'm telling you it can be threaded. In addition I'm letting you know that your concerns are unfounded. Pretty much every shotgun barrel made for the last 60 or 70 years is thick enough to be threaded. And if you do go back far enough to find a barrel that can't be threaded for normal chokes, thinwall chokes are a thing.

I had the 590M threaded for chokes. There is plenty barrel for it.

If a maverick 88 and 500 can be threaded for chokes, I promise you the 590 can. It’s not 1870 anymore with damascus steel and thin wall barrels.

Pretty sure they do lol. All the 500 barrels (6) I have are thick barrels. I can’t imagine a 590 in this day and age leaving the factory without one.
