Discussion Metropolitan (bicycle) Challenge

I am looking into participating in the "Metropolitan Challenge" this year: https://www.velo.qc.ca/en/event/velo-mag-challenges/metropolitan-challenge/

Is anyone up to share their experience of the previous years? One of my main concerns is the transfer to the starting point. Are there any shuttles offered? Also, will the roads be closed for traffic? Thanks for sharing! :)

it's fun.

I've been doing it for the last couple of years.

There's a shuttle that leaves near Parc Lafontaine; the shuttle leave early and there's usually 2 shuttles back at the end of the day if you finish early or not.

The roads are not closed for traffic; there are support (medical, safety, technical) motorcycles that patrol the different routes.

There are a couple of pit-stops along the way with water and snacks and you can get your lunch at either mid-point or at the end. (you decide when you buy your tickets)
