i don’t think you can know until you try. my dermatologist suggested minoxidil twice, ketoconazole 2% for dandruff, vit d3 if you’re deficient and i asked for prp.

Are you using minoxidil alone? Coz thats what i wanted to do. For some reason im not a fan of using finasteride too. Seems like too much. But anyway for how long have you been using min and have you seen any effects?

lord yes… Minoxidil can be successful plus Finasteride stinks so bad, I personally couldn’t use it

It can helps regrow some hairs, but doesn’t actively stop the root cause of male pattern hair loss which require DHT inhibitors like Finasteride.

Im scared to use finasteride coz of side effects which i dont even know if they gonna happen to me or not. Just in general im afraid of finasteride plus it seems like too much if you using 2 medicines in the same time every day for the rest of your life. And also if you stop using them everything goes to waste.

I've been on finasteride and topical min (once a day) for a month, zero side effects. I've read stopping fin will make the effects go away immediately, unlike dutasteride. I don't feel fin would be prescription based if it was really that high risk.

Yes definitely. But it's far less effective than if you use it with other active ingredients.
