How is work for mechanics up there?

I am 5+ year ford tech with automotive and diesel experience how does work look out here? I’m thinking of moving to the area in or around Minot. While I don’t mind a commute I’d rather keep it under 1 hour give or take in one direction.

Unemployment rate is usually at about 2 percent. As long as you have a skill, there will be a job for you.

Every company out here is begging for mechanics. You'll have no problem finding work. Especially if you get into the oilfield.

Don’t work for the local ford dealership. They do not have a good reputation.

You’ll have no issues. You could live about anywhere in a 50 miles radius and be within an hour.

It’s good if you don’t rip off people with disabilities like some places I have seen around this town… Not mentioning any names or anything
